Watched the last 30 minutes which were pretty impressive for Liverpool but more impressive by Joe Hart and the city defence. 2 points dropped in the end but encouraging from what I saw.

Balotelli, what a spanner. Soon as he got taht first yellow and the way he reacted I thought, he was likely to be a gonner. He really needs to fix up his attitude. 19 minutes, three fouls, slipped over when in a very good spot and then sent off.

Carroll looked good when coming on, Kenny left it too late though. Outstanding performances by Glen Johnson & Lucas. Luis played well, despite Kompany trying to kick him into next week. We are looking very good at the moment, no other side has dominated City like we have.

i was also perplexed with the lack of subs. i mean, dont need to make subs for the sake of it, but ya know, i dunno, maybe get henderson off for a bag of spuds?

Was all rather comical from him wasn't it? Would have go down as one of the worst performances by any player in the EPL this season.

Lucas is a ****ing boss. He's comfortably better than Mascherano ever was. Best defensive mid in the league. Had every single City midfielder in his pocket.

Here are his stats from the game.

Passes attempted 75
Passes completed 69
Success rate 92%

Tackles attempted 11
Tackles won 11

That's split into:

Duels won (aerial) 5/5
Duels won (tackle) 6/6
Interceptions 6

Not sure that he's better than Mascherano was (yet) but he rarely lets us down and seems to play will in all of the big matches. Very good player. :thumbsu:
