James Pearce reporting:

Bobby Adekanye has told the club he will rundown his contract and leave for (probably) Lazio on a free in the summer.

Sporting want Rafa Camacho on loan.

League 1 club wants Curtis Jones on loan.
More on Camacho: James Pearce saying that it might be a short loan to Sporting until the end of the season, Portuguese newspapers saying it could be an 18 month loan with an option to buy for 13.5mil.

I can't see how Sporting could afford that kind of transfer fee for an unproven kid? The only way they'd pay it is if he ends up being sensational

Wilson has scored again, his 9th for the season. If we're going to be getting anyone in during the window I'd bringing him back from Derby. If we brought in a brand new player it could take them 6 months to learn our style of play, as we've seen with Fabinho, Robbo and Oxlade. In a title race we need someone who can hit the ground running.

Midfield is the only area where it's difficult to predict selection - personally I'd go with Henderson and Wijnaldum on recent form, and Keita as a wildcard potential match winner to round out the 3.

Pulisic signed for Chelsea for €64m

no wonder we didn't push harder for him at that price.

Doesn't make sense to me with him not joining until the summer window. With 12 months left on his contract most teams would be able to negotiate a better deal than 60m+.

Midfield wise Hendo / Wijnaldum need to start. The other position out of Shaq / Naby - I would personally lean towards Naby because of his pace and physicality. Shaq to come on as an impact sub if we are chasing the game or Fabinho to shore things up if we are level or in front. Milner is still struggling with a hammy.

Klopp just must not be keen. Because given who owns us and that Pulisic is pretty much the poster boy for USA football, I thought we would definitely be in for him.

Having said that, I trust Klopp completely when it comes to transfers, he's been sensational in that department so if we're not in for him then I'm ok with that.

Seems weird that Camacho would be training with the first team and making the bench quite a few times this season if Klopp is looking to offload him. Everything I've read is that we rate him really highly. A loan might be on, but definitely not a sale IMO.
