This is surreal. I cannot recall a season like this, by any club, in any league.

Even though it’s done and dusted, it won’t feel real until I see Jordan Henderson lift that trophy.

It’s like being a kid at Christmas, just counting down the days/weeks now.

22 years I’ve supported this club and I can’t believe the one thing I’ve wanted to see more than anything is actually going to happen.

jod23 how are you feeling with what we are witnessing? Four more wins and the lid is coming off 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
It's all quite difficult to quantify mate.

I remember not being totally gutted last season, more like frustrated. Of course Liverpool would get 97 points in the league. Incredible... but someone else gets 98. It was peak Being Liverpool.

We'd lost the CL final the previous season in comedic fashion. Again Being Liverpool. But even though we got rolled in the CL final and even though we finished one point behind City, I could see us building. I knew we were close.

Then Madrid. We needed that so badly to instill belief. But when this season started I still thought it was gonna be a bridge too far to catch City. Like perhaps we missed our chance last season.

Then this season began and the first thing I remember looking back is the Norwich game when they beat City and we had opened up a little gap.

Then it just snowballed quite quickly out of control. 6 points became 9. Then all of a sudden we were double digits in front. Next minute Leicester were now our rivals. Then the gap was above 15....19.... 22.

It's almost being a blur. It's happened so quickly. It's difficult to take it all in. To really appreciate what we are witnessing.

I mean we've won the league. We've gone and bloody won the league.

I've been supporting Liverpool since around the mid 90's. We had only won the league 5-6 years previously. But United were starting to get right into the swing of things.

They were too good. Year after year after year. Arsenal gave us some reprieve but we never really threatened even in the year we finished second around the turn of the century.

As each year rolled on, we seemed further away than ever to a league title. It's like we just had to wait until SAF retired. And just as he was getting older, up pops Abramovich. What was difficult now became doubly difficult.

Chelsea's money was unheard of and they dominated. We had bright spots, Rafa and Istanbul but again we finished second under Benitez but I never truly thought we could pip United that year.

SAF drew ever closer to retirement. Thank God. Then what was doubly difficult became impossible. The Shieks arrived and their money made Chelsea look like small time.

Meanwhile the club imploded under the cowboys and I had to sit through Woy, Konchesky, Poulsen, Jovanovic and the corpse of Joe Cole.

With our implosion and City's wealth I don't think we had ever been further away from a league title than we were at the time of the cowboys. I honestly began to believe that i might just go my whole life never seeing us win that elusive league title.

And then it all changed. John Henry... that beautiful, beautiful man saved our club, righted the ship and eventually brought in one Jurgen Norbert Klopp and what has happened before my very eyes has quite simply being difficult to believe.

Yet here we are. Champions of Europe, Champions of the World, Champions elect of England and a 30 year wait for a title has ended. Invincibles in play. Centurions in play. Treble in play.

How am I feeling? Well it's difficult to describe. Lucky I guess would be the word that comes to mind. Grateful, happy, incredulous, emotional, joyous and even a little smug.

It's a ****ing fantastic time to be a Red.... and the best thing about it all is that we're just getting started!

Never truly thought we'd win one.

When Leicester won the other year I just thought "get stuffed" even they get one!

A few years ago it was Gerrard slip.

A couple years before it was a deflection off a bloody beach ball (that was allowed) that helped stuff us.

We had Stevie, Torres and Suarez dominating the league but kept tripping up.

Now the only team I follow that hasnt won a title is on track... finally.

Keep it going lads.

They were both stonewall penalties. What’s the point in having VAR if *******s with a tv replay monito aren’t going to give those?

The Ings one could go either way. I've seen Shearer say on MOTD it was stonewall but then I heard Giggs and Paul Ince both say they didn't think it was a pen, but there was enough there that if Kevin Friend gave it, that VAR couldn't overturn it. Everyone seems to agree the Bobby one was stonewall, though.

Ings pen was so close. Fabinho (I think) did stick his foot out but I thought a/ Ings was already falling over himself and 2/ Im not sure there was any contact.

Like you say VAR would not have overturned it.

For most of those 30 barren years we were always a chance against the successful clubs in one off games (or CL ties), but would always, seemingly ALWAYS trip up against teams in or near the relegation zone. We could rarely if ever take 3 points unless we played somewhere near our best. Jurg has well and truly righted those wrongs, to a point now where we can play well below our best, but come away with the W. God bless that beautiful man.

Liverpool lead by 22 points.

Manchester City have a maximum of 39 points available.

Liverpool upcoming matches are;

Norwich (A)
West Ham (H)
Watford (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Everton (A)
Palace (H)

Man City upcoming matches are;

West Ham (H)
Leister (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man United (A)
Burnley (H)
Chelsea (A)

My predictions is Liverpool will win this at Merseyside - but not at Anfield and it will be glorious.
