Back collar of the new kit looks stupid

I think Klopp has been thrashing them in training - didn't seem to be much spark out there against Salzburg

Klopp goes pretty hard in pre season. Has said himself results mean nothing. Bloody annoying we have the charity shield then nothing for two weeks. Hopefully Klopp organises some friendlies for the guys not playing in the international break.

Not as many easy kills at the bottom of the table to run up those stats for Messi in the PL. Midweek in early Feb at Turf Moor v Burnley and he'll be wishing for the mild winters and the non-physical defending of the La Liga.

I don't even get how international breaks even work right now with Covid.

Don’t know if it’s already been said, but Suarez back at Liverpool would be great. But he’s probably too old.
Coutinho is wanted by Barca apparentlZ

Suarez is done.

Messi is 33 as well - not sure he is the answer for a club like City. As has been proven at Barca you need to set up the entire system around him.

Yeah but Neymar didn't join our direct rivals? I don't know what Neymar leaving has to do with anything.

City seems the only logical place Messi could end up which wouldn't be great news for us haha
Messi didn't seem to worry Bayern though and from memory he played in the 4-0 loss to us

Any time you can get the GOAT... you do it. Even at 33 he is still the best player in the world.

Maybe he is maybe he isn't. If he is it won't be for much longer.

If Liverpool were considering it then I would want that money thrown at someone like Mbappe rather than Messi. And beyond that I might even prefer 2-3 really good players instead of 1.

I would prefer youth and hunger to succeed. Messi has already done it all.

from what i gathered listening to a podcast, they trained on the day of the game, two sessions before the day, two more before that day and before THAT day was the stuttgart game. so yeah it was literally just another training session

If he goes to City, or the EPL For that matter, he would provide a massive injection of interest and cash to the league. Would be phenomenal coverage and interest.
But joining EPL at 33. That’s a tough ask. All teams in the EPL are better then every club in the La Liga bar Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real. Away days at Villa Park, St James and Elland Road is arguably more intimidating and packed then any game really in Spain.

Great minds think alike. Every time the camera did a close shot of the back of our player(s), my eyes were drawn to the back collar.
I also thought our players would have had a morning session and were very leggy with misplaced passing etc as a result.

At least Klopp had all his players at the camp. Something he hasn't had preseason for a while now.

Milner is 34 and on his way out. Wilson/Grujic are likely to be sold this window. We have a definite place for him in the squad IMO.

Thiago comes in as a nominal starter, he doesn't come in after starting for Bayern in the CL final just to sit on our bench - which is why I think a starter has to make room.
