I can't believe someone could follow the sport and all of the media facade that comes with it and not be able to identify a bogus rumour, particularly the kind that's hung around for a couple of weeks and hasn't even been uttered by a single semi credible source. Just pure bedwetting over the kind of stuff that only gets traction on Caught Offside or whatever.

Yeah because all signings happen after legitimate media report it?? Lol. Most of these legitimate sources usually post a rumour after it's been done. And as I said I've been visiting the site for 10 years. Not going to go through this any longer. No point some of you are in fantasy land like we are city.

It's run by editors who clarify rumours from posters/such as the likelihood of those occuring. The eds have contacts. The editors are what I read we they are legit especially ed2 and ed1. They may get things wrong but it's always depending on other things such as Messi leaving/mane being legitimately targeted though they still hold some interest. Track record is very good.

LOL. Melissa was saying we had funds according to the gurus on twitter when it came to the purchase of Thiago. She was wrong as Pearce is reguarluy. They usually get the details just before a move is announced. Joyce the same. They get the news after the fact.

Makes plenty of sense. Chelsea negative cash flow of 75m, high amortisation costs + potential match day income loss this year must be putting them in some FFP danger although FFP is spread over the next 2 years due to coronavirus. Looks like they won't be spending much in summer 2021 unless they sell a fair few players.

All these figures point to us having a pretty big summer 2021 window. Matchday income hopefully back to normal by then.

Just thinking of some of the massive transfer flops made by Man U, Real and Barca in recent years - think we've been lucky in that regard our big spends VVD and Allison were winners - Keita at 50 mil probably giving it a shake. Who have we lost big money on: Balotelli Markovik - Can left for nothing. Guys leaving on frees are probably the worst, financially.
