My God that was fantastic. Absolutely hilarious that the bitters couldn't even beat our kids. Fair play to Lallana, I give him quite a bit of stick but he was superb. That entire midfield was to be fair. The kids were all sensational and that win was more impressive than the Arsenal one in the League Cup.

In a couple of seasons when he should be ready, chuck Neco Williams in at FB and move Trent into the midfield. Williams is going to be an absolute star. You could see it when he made his debut and he did not look out of place again and he has a wicked cross on him.

How did Minamino look?

He looked decent when he got it but he seemed to be playing mainly through the middle with most of the play going down the flanks. He got into some good positions but the ball could never quite reach him or he was ignored entirely. He'll be better for the run but I would like to see him with any combination of the usual front 3.

League
Champs
FA
Club World Cup*

If all goes well we could do a quadruple, but a lot has to go right for that to happen. Odds are against us

If Citeh can count Community Shield surely we can also count the Super Cup.

Neco Williams has a lot of talent. It's funny I haven't thought about the January transfer window at all. Usually I froth a window because you dream about bringing the next wonderkid or making a move for a superstar and you dream about that unknown player only we know about who comes in and is a star.

But this time I barely think about it. Because we simply don't need any of that. I've thought we could do with a full back. But to be honest Williams, Milner, Gomez, Larouci, Hoever can all do jobs there. And you want to give time to young players to develop them.

Could do with a little midfield help but Jones is a great talent, let's invest in him. Help up top, Minamino is in and Elliot is another massive talent we need to put games into. Brewster another option.

The reality is now we are so good. We don't need signings, we don't need wonderkids, we don't need superstars.

Anyone see Jone's post-match interview? Said he was frustrated to be on the bench so much and not getting game time when he feels he should be. Great attitude to have IMO but he needs to be careful to not get a big head.

We don't want another Bobby Duncan that's for sure

So proud Jones got past this beast...

Sandwiched between the wolves and west ham away games, time for the kids again
Easier side compared to Everton and the possibility of Fabinho, Matip, Lovren, Shaq, Keita and Milner being in the squad too

Ben White:

The 22-year-old is impressing on loan at Leeds United, prompting repeated reports of interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also both in for the centre-back.

However, any interested side would not be able to sign him until the summer with Leeds unwilling to cancel his loan spell.
