I dont see why Milner was played at lb today, they were always going to sit back and hit on the counter so the more attacking option was he way to go imo.

Tighten up the midfield, tighten up the defense, and we'll be much better. Jurgen just doesn't like a lot of midfielders, kinda like playing Milner and Can as the two last season. That needs to be put to the bin

And I think it'll bite us in the ass for not buying a genuine deep playmaker this season, Wijnaldum is not a centre mid

I'd rather us play a 4-2-3-1 with two genuine central mids sitting, I don't like this 4-3-3

Just saw that, he was just in his own half and beside the player that passed the ball to the scorer when he gave it up, when the ball went in the net he was still at the half way line. Not good enough.

The problem from last season is still here now, no real passing ability in the team and still vulnerable to be countered. I'd rather us make it a bit more of an even possession game and sit two mids back so we don't get toweled up everytime we lose the ball

Absolutely, these are tactical things to sort out plus new signings in midfield will need to adjust. Wij and Jordan have barely played under Klopp. I'm not stressing yet.

we should probably set up more defensively against bad teams and more offensively against good teams. I might be extrapolating but this has been a problem for a while.

I'm just fine with us not making it so easy for other teams to score. We have good defenders (maybe not at full back), so it can't be that we keep continually expose them. A lot of that has to do with no cover from midfield

I don't understand the dynamics of football when compared to Aussie rules - cultures are poles apart and I'm only privy to one. Change room egos and international stardom are just some of things that come with managing a big club.
Goals from turnovers in Aussies rules are plentiful. You can however redeem yourself.
Coutinho's effort on half time would have killed off any chance of us getting a result and if Klopp wants to build a successful side he needs to set an example.
