If we are shooting for Europe like we'd all hope to be, we would have liked to be on 9-10 points now. Especially given the performances we've had this year.

You can say that but we have played Arsenal, City and Utd in our first 5 games, granted those three have been at home but it doesnt mean they are easy games. I would have been pleased with 5 points out of 9 for those three. We got 1 but deserved probably 4-6.

We were on pace for a Champions League spot until late December/early January last year. That didn't do us a whole lot of good. It's a long season, there's no point stressing out at this point. A lot can happen between now and May, look at Arsenal - they were in our position this time last year and ended up finishing 3rd and at one point they even looked like challenging for the title.

On another note, rumours flying around that Sahin, Wisdom and..... Suso will be starting tonight. To be honest I haven't been this excited about a season since Rafa left, and we haven't even won a game yet, imagine what I'll be like when we get on a winning streak - I'll be unbearable! I think it's the unknown of what these kids could achieve this year, Suso and Sterling in particular look as though they could be genuine game breakers and they're only 17-18.

Surely Coates starts instead of Wisdom? I know Wisdom is talented but we need to give Coates more game time, he certainly has talent. Hopefully Jose Enrique gets back into his early season form last year. I think we'll win 3-0.

Wisdom at RB, Johnson LB. I'd assume they wouldn't risk Agger so soon and in a relatively low risk game so we'll probably see Coates & Skrtel at CB.
