Not sure I agree with him getting a salary bump though.


Also 300k wouldn't be the highest paid player, that would be Mo on 350k / week.


I would have thought a new deal would be on the same terms he is on now (220k / week). Perhaps the new deal is heavily incentivized towards appearances and team performance which would be smart at his age.

I wonder what kind of personal commitment gets you out of England duty. Must be something pretty important as surely Jones is super excited being part of the England set up now and pushing for his first actual England cap.
