does anyone else agree that nicole and michelle will be really hot once they lose all the weight? they have pretty faces.

I have always wondered why they 'de-shirt' as well, and what difference it would make if they wore the same stuff every time.....

Yeah the shirts would only weight a few grams anyway, but I guess the guys are different in sizes. Therefore more material used and slightly weighing more... even if a measly gram or two.

Nicola yes! Michelle would be alright I think.

So leading up to the TV weigh in, they only know their own weight loss for the "week"? They must do a decent job acting when they see what they've lost/gained on the TV one.

nah, forgot to mention, obviously the contestants dont even get to see their own weight loss beforehand, its purely for the producers to know

so their reactions are geniune

Thanks for clearing that up.

So it is a bit misleading when you hear Shannon talking about how John lost 26kg in 4 weeks. 4 tv weeks might have been about close to 2months.
 
Nicola for me too. I couldnt care less if the WERE fat arses.... if theyre hot theyre hot.
 
Who went over to the blue team? I switched over to the Amazing Race.

he got 7 votes ( Cosi and the remaing blue team members, nicole nicola and himself)

the black team all voted for COSI

and i think gary voted for Nicola

Don't know about that one? I thought the same thing but then if it was Nicole who voted for Nicola then she was voting against her only potential ally on the red team. Cosi would have voted for Sam. Gary is the most likely person to have voted for Nicola - mainly because it was a dumb and pointless exercise and that's been Gary's trademark over the past week or so.

So I don't see where you're getting the argument that the show has been rewarding the wrong type of behaviour.


Further, people complain that the show is not about weight loss. Fair enough, there are always twists and turns but thats because its ON TV!!! who the hell would wanna watch a show about nothing but two dozen fat people losing weight. Nothing else happens. lol you could do that at the gym.

I just don't like the red team!:D

However, they have lost 2 more weigh-ins than the blue team and had won just as many challenges, yet until last night had two more members. The only thing they were beating the blues at was giving in to temptation. To me their success is deceptive and is more to do with luck and winning at the wrong things than any well conceived strategy. I think that the cards for them will begin to tumble soon.

That's about my 1,000th prediction on this thread - do I win the prize?
 
It was all anonymous but not too hard to work out which team voted for who. Given that we got to see the Blue and Black votes, but for the contestant it's simple to work it out. Both teams were united in their decision but Red.

The preview for tonights ep, didn't they show Nicole saying how she needs to sabotage her team as much as she can?

edit - Meant Nicole, not Nicola.

Yeah saw that, WTF???

I'm sure it must have been taken out of context. Nicole would have to know that if the reds were to go to an elimination her head is well and truly on the chopping block.
 
I think they'll have to get more than 1 flag. It will probably be a thing where there is a heap of them they have to collect within a certain amount of time and the team with the most wins. Just a guess though.

I really don't see why Nicole would sabotage her own group? There is no benefit and infact it is to her detriment. If I was her I'd be trying as hard as I could to make sure the red team got across the line.
