Everyone trying too hard to be funny and no one succeeding.

Just reeks of channel 7 footy failure.

What's the chick's role? to be hot? funny? or footy smart? coz she's none of those.

Hellier can't hold a show down on his own.

Too many forced laughs from the audience too.

I did chuckle at Colin Banks though.

and I feel sorry for Richo....:(

I don't even hate Peter Hellier like everyone else seems to. On the spot, I reckon he's quite sharp, and if he was just doing a street talk sort of segment rather than hosting the whole thing, he'd be good value. Sadly, this show is that awful that I think it is hurting my TV. Adam Cooney was good value for the three seconds Hellier let him get a word in for.

Give it a chance, its different, but doesn't need the band

Tell me...

How is Peter Rowsthorn impersonating a cabbie in an obviously derogatory manner any different to any of the crap Sam does?

They have offended cabbies everywhere. If I was a cabbie I would be outraged about that portrayal.

They should be hung, drawn and quartered for that skit!;)

Prediction: This thread ends up being quoted at length in some lazy journo article tomorrow.

Example: "Members of the Big Footy blog were less kind, [funny user name] said "[direct quote]", while [another funny user name] said he would never watch Channel 7 again"

According to the Herald Sun every website that they don't contribute to, or any live chat, is a "blog".

Havent watched all of it yet, but the actualy footy talk isnt half bad. Its just the attempted "funny stuff"...isnt funny

That Sting could of been so much more better. Needed more from Steele himself but the facial expressions on the kid was priceless.

On the show itself, thought it was half decent as background tv. Don't mind Helliar but the show was pretty much seen before stuff and nothing particulary stood out. Won't be a must watch.
