The criteria is crazy. Our bench will have 1 defender and 3 mids, need to pick 9, even then too bloody hard to differentiate.
Ludicrous leaving out Murphy, SPS, Ed and LOB who's figures are ridiculously low but understandable on the process.

Sure, mate. I reckon any player with past forward ability should be named. At this point, I'd have SPS, Murphy, Dow, SOS, TDK, Lang, Fisher, Cunners, Polson, Pickett, Daisy and Setters. Not sure about Kennedy.

Thoughts?

That's fine but I think the side will ultimately show to be unbalanced given how many more mids we may see at senior level.

My 7 are -

1) Kreuzer
2) Cripps
3) Ed
4) Dow
5) SPS
6) Newman
7) LOB

Ideally I've got all of the above plus Murphy, Fisher and Kennedy in my side. Don't have Walsh there but you'd expect he probably will be, and you'd think Setterfield will be close also.

We're picking 6 of these players?

This is bloody tough, especially given there's every chance we'll see 10 of them at senior level each week.

Matty411 can we get some clarification as to which of the players will appear in the forwards poll?

Fisher is a certain starter, but I have him starting forward in my best 22, so won't vote for him here if he'll also be available forward.
A couple will find their way into the forward line. For me, Fisher or Murphy probably 'look' better on the half forward line, but I think they're in our six best midfielders so i've selected them here and will have to vote for SPS/Setterfield/Cunigham/LOB/Thomas as a half forward.

Very surprised I am the only one to vote for Newman. Have him starting on a wing where his run, ball use and maturity will be important. Lift Arr0w FFS...

I have Fisher in the forward pocket and Murphy at half forward, so I voted for neither in this poll, even though I expected both to be voted into the side as mids.

There are going to be some seriously talented kids missing out using this format.

Bolton has to balance up the heavy lifters Kreuzer/Cripps/Kennedy and Ed against the second receivers Dow/Fisher/SPS/LoB/Murphy and then figure out how much factor X he needs in Cuningham/Pickett/Garlett/Fasolo - whilst considering Setterfield/Walsh and Stocker's development..

Winning the ball and moving it effectively between the arcs and into Mcgovern/Charlie/Harry's hands is the next challenge - hiding players like SPS/Fisher as forward pockets or HFF won't achieve that - these two are genuine play makers.

Buggered if i know how this format is supposed to work , 6 people have not voted for a ruckman !!
Here , i'll save you all the trouble :

Simpson Weitering Plowman
Docherty Marchbank Williamson
SPS Cripps O'Brien
Murphy Curnow Pickett
McGovern McKay Fasolo

Kruezer Kennedy Dow

Fisher Setterfield Curnow Walsh
