Really interesting tidbit from Harry's podcast this week. Mentioned that to help with goalkicking the club organised for him to go to those places they use to load soccer players into FIFA. Not exactly sure what it is called but they hook up some stuff on the person and it shows all the intricacies of the their movement etc.

Apparently, they identified that Harry was making this small step just before he went to kick which would result in a complete loss of momentum. Said that it was something that was part of his run up since he was a kid and that this summer he tried to completely eliminate it.

Also says he now has a map which shows which kick he will take at each position on the ground for goal.

Looks a bit overly complicated for me.

WTF Damo 🙄

Stupid stupid ‘sliding doors’

It is an absolute crap piece. Disrespectful to a prominent figure in today’s game and clearly designed to further challenge the confidence of a player.

Barrett is a blight on the game who gets so very much wrong and still is gifted an exalted position in the game, by the AFL, no less.

hopefully the media will affect him a lot less than it does some of our supporters.........

I hope those that feel the need to now rail against Barrett for this stone throwing and round up the wagons, will also vocally support H during a game when he inevitably misses an easy shot.

Nothing is going to get in his head more than his own fan base jeering from the sidelines!

Hey guys, not sure where to ask this, and I'm probably months late, but I was wondering if anyone had seen a Carlton corduroy hat for sale that had the old CFC embroidered?

The only time I've seen it anywhere is when Charlie Curnow wore it in a Carlton social media post. I was hoping to grab one but I haven't seen it for sale - cheers!

Him still missing easy goals just wastes the great opportunity his strong marking ability gives him and will cost Carlton games!!! His kicking should have been worked on since day one, straight after he became a Carlton player.......It might be more between his ears these days actually, but as a professional footballer on big money it`s time he did something about it......

He's doing something about it. Go back and read the articles and listen to the interviews.

I read a fair bit of content, regarding "we need to look at and or review this aspect". Whether that's injury/rehab, gameplan, tactics, list management, etc

Club has made clear statements regarding past reviews and ongoing assessments

There will always be aspects, events, phases, where our output doesn't meet expectations of club, media, supporters (generally based on win/loss)

To think these reviews and or discussion aren't ongoing would be somewhat ignorant
