A source told Healy a complete review of all aspects of Melbourne Footy club, on field & off field was currently underway.'
Healy commented it was a strange time to be undertaking such a review then followed it up in an interview with Schwab.
Given their personal relationship, Schwab flat batted Healy, gave nothing.

Last night guest commentator on Thu night David King was amazed the media had not followed it up, 'out for lunch?'

Finally the print media Feb 11:

What caught my eye is the photo at the top of the article, and how far behind the others Jack Watts is in the sprint/run.

Interesting also that Schwabby doesn't see us as being in contention this year.

he wasn't really that far behind, plus we know he has never been in the top fitness-wise at the club

he will work on it

plus how do we know he was at the back?

What a waste of money hiring a management consulting group to examine the operations of a football department. You'd like to think that those running the department (Schwab, Harrington and Connolly) would be the most qualified people to conduct a review.

What conclusions are they going to reach? And how do they factor in things beyond control, such as a massive spate of injuries (not soft tissue or stress related) or players being poached by new franchises.

Sometimes an outside source is exactly what you need to give you an accurate review of your business. Managers can/will/do hold back on things for plenty of reasons. Not saying this is best for the Dee's - but it could be.
