While Lynette Simms case and Bronwyn Winfield disappearances both have a lot in common the reason that neither of these cases have been prosecuted after the much delayed Coronial Inquests in both cases was that Nicholas Cowdery (DPP 1994 - 2011) did not believe in prosecuting cases where there was no body no matter how much circumstantial evidence there was.

Lynette's case had also been brought to Lloyd Babb where there was a conflict of interest declared.

Having said that no one has been charged with Bronwyn's disappearance so at this point in time there is no case to answer.

Similarly Roxlyn Bowie murdered by her husband and charged and convicted with similar timeframes to Lynette.

They need to explain why they found none of these obvious signs the campaigner murdered her credible.
I guess whenever there’s no body it’s hard to come to any conclusion. Just like in other well-known cases, Dawson, Barter, etc. Even with the recent missing campers case, if remains hadn’t been located it might have been difficult to get a conviction.

Has anybody listened to the podcast yet? I haven't got around to it yet, anybody have a review?
Same Hedley Thomas style of podcast for better or worse. What is interesting at the moment is that new information is coming in about the disappearance while the episodes are being made. Overall, I would recommend listening.

Fairly good podcast and easily listening. He pads it out a bit and it is repetitive in some parts but that’s not a bad thing if you’re doing something else while listening
