Nahas at North for 2014.

Hopefully he doesn't embarrass himself and advertise himself in the media like several other players. Nahas i'm looking at you. Be thankful you got the games and money and move on.
North just signed Nahas up, lol.

Armstrong to the pies. Don't get that one. Can't see him getting a game next year.
Nahas could be agood pick up he has shown some promise but had an awful year last year. Was not in favour with King and Edwards around.

Clearly thinks we're short on small forwards.

I'd play Thomas, Adams, Harper and Garner all ahead of Nahas.

Insurance surely.

He looks like insurance for Thomas as the specialist small forward. More of a crumbing type and not as good of course but the other guys form part of the midfield rotation along with Boomer Harvey and others but Nahas could back up Thomas. The question is do you need a depth small forward on your list but if it's a 1 year deal it might be better than having a late draft pick stuck on the list for 2 years.

Nahas would be ahead of Harper and Garner. Adams had a poor year too, so I think it's a pretty reasonable call. I don't think Nahas is as anywhere near as bad as some make him out to be.

Russell got games and Armstrong is a Way Better Prospect as he has Speed and can Use the Ball well

Yep. And he had a couple of minor ones this year. But he showed some promising signs in the reserves. Really wanted to keep him.

Josh Thomas is a Great Example why you can stick with kids like that. JT was Injured for 3 Full Seasons but was good this year with Injury and had a Very Promising Season:thumbsu:

Good point. You can feel free to send him back to Queenland at anytime. ;)

It's unlikely but I hope we re-rookie Cal. He could have gotten cut because we weren't sure what picks we'd use and we might have considered cutting a player or two and chucking them on the Rookie list. He has the tools and showed some very promising signs at reserves level.

What would you give back in Return?

Is this view due to Hine giving Armstrong a wrap?

Armstrong becomes a Magpie
“Tony is a lovely kick, with either foot, and a pacey defender we think can make a strong contribution,” Hine said.

“He has played senior football and what he is capable of was on display in the NEAFL grand final when he won the Alex Jesaulenko medal as best afield.”

That sounds familiar...

Blue now black and white
"The facts are Jordan is only 25 years of age, a top 10 draft pick in his year and a player with attributes you would expect of a high order selection," Hine said.

"He finished top six in Carlton’s best and fairest twice and being a versatile type of player he can give us real flexibility through the half-back/wing areas. He is keen to re-establish himself and he was very keen to come to Collingwood.

"We think we can help Jordan recapture his best and if that happens he will be a very good footballer for us."

At their best, Russell was a better defender due to his size. Noof doesn't lack speed.

Thats the thing - I don't think he's a great player or anything, he's just a solid linkman who you can rely on to work his arse off all day. But it seems very harsh to have been delisted after he's upstaged a lot of his 'bigger name' teammates who supposedly have 'more potential'.

I agree, good post.
