Yep. And he had a couple of minor ones this year. But he showed some promising signs in the reserves. Really wanted to keep him.

He looks like insurance for Thomas as the specialist small forward. More of a crumbing type and not as good of course but the other guys form part of the midfield rotation along with Boomer Harvey and others but Nahas could back up Thomas. The question is do you need a depth small forward on your list but if it's a 1 year deal it might be better than having a late draft pick stuck on the list for 2 years.

Nahas would be ahead of Harper and Garner. Adams had a poor year too, so I think it's a pretty reasonable call. I don't think Nahas is as anywhere near as bad as some make him out to be.

Josh Thomas is a Great Example why you can stick with kids like that. JT was Injured for 3 Full Seasons but was good this year with Injury and had a Very Promising Season

I would agree Russell was better at their best. He played some very good footy at Carlton prior to Collingwood. Armstrong not so much.

Russell has played 125 games and finished 6th in Carlton's B&F one year, Armstrong has played 29 matches in 6 seasons, which do you think is a better prospect?

Thats the thing - I don't think he's a great player or anything, he's just a solid linkman who you can rely on to work his arse off all day. But it seems very harsh to have been delisted after he's upstaged a lot of his 'bigger name' teammates who supposedly have 'more potential'.
