Obvs taken from the glorious "Most boring AFL/VFL player Encounters/Interactions" thread...
Was at the checkout today at Coles in Nerang, GC, QLD, waiting an eternity for the line at my checkout due to a clearly new and incompetent clerk. So im flicking thru bigfooty to kill time n finally i start loading my groceries etc. So the grossly overweight n sweaty (we were in aircon?!) checkout clerk kid sorts the groceries, small talk ensues n he sees my phone screen..."You're on bigfooty hey?! Wow, whats ur ushhhername n who do u forrow (bloke had a lisp)"
"Yah yah im a big Blues man, username is GCNavyBlue"
" Wow man im a Weagres supporter n my user name is Perthboy86! - do u rike my threadshhhh"
I reply - "ive only just started using this thing, don't really know what im doing, havent noticed ur threads mate"
Bloke tears up nearly n doesn't say another word to me. I grabbed my groceries and left.
