It's a non event that's been treated accordingly with sanctions solely to appease the uneducated, uninformed and unwashed masses. Our season 2013 was cooked and a flag was highly unlikely. We take an early break, huge preseason, retain our premiership window opening list and the rip the comp apart in 2014.
What about the fines you ask? A nice portion of our cash flow comes from the fat pig himself, so we'll earn a few squirrels off it and return it in good time.
What about the ASADA bans that are coming you ask? After 10 months of sterling investigatory work do you think the underpaid year 10 graduates of ASADA are suddenly going to turn up some actual admissible evidence? Even if it's admissible, it'd want to be better than that halfwit Wep bumbling over his sour grapes otherwise they'll be laughed out of court. ASADA have had power to compel El Danko to attend an interview for 6 months and haven't done so. Jobe admitted he used a "banned" substance on national tv FFS and they still can't seal the deal, yet Saad was swiftly and harshly dealt with, why would that be?
Harshly dealt with, no. You've pissed us off but inflicted no actual damage. We're rich, successful, handsome and on the charge for a flag in 2014; our detractors have simply made that imminent success infinitely more enjoyable.
