After a return to the finals in Season 39, the Fighting Furies brains trust LG of ShaunDuggan, omgfridge, Frothies Mcveigh and myself identified some key targets to refresh our club for a sustained period of success. We were able to sign all of those we considered to be the highest of high value targets.

Joining our list for Season 39:

- TRUMAN#1 makes his triumphant return to the Furies; having left to become an foundation player at the juggernaut that is the Ophidian Old Boys, Bono returns to find the Hippodrome is not quite in the state of disrepair the club leadership of the last few years would indicate.

- serial_thrilla who has been a long-time collaborator with epic match threads (the Season 32 GF rematch thread in Season 33 remains the greatest thread in history, on any forum!) joins us to add some exceptional quality, and generally correct my team sheet submission errors and incorrect tags.

- Supersuns is one of the greatest provocateurs in Sweet FA, and comes to give us a harder edge as well as some "brutal honesty". I may have already tagged the wrong person once (seriously, super suns, follow this link, sign up for the Furies, and see what all the mayhem is about: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/season-39-new-returning-players-sign-up-thread.1391263/), but I think I got away with it.

- HARPSichord has been one of the truly elite posters around this place since they first joined, and is bringing their A Game to the Fighting Furies to consolidate our rise back to the top.

- Bonz, a former Fred Medallist, and the sexiest perverted cat in the Sweet FA, will be the spearhead of our rejuvenated on field lineup, who will no doubt continue to provide excellent content for us all off field, too.

As always, rookie recruitment remains a priority, and there is always the chance the squad may be expanded even further.
