Congrats The Filth Wizard on 300 games! It is thanks to you (and BRAB for the initial nudge) that I joined the league in the first place. I had no idea what the fu** was going on and you didn't really help explain this place, but maybe I'm glad you didn't. Even if it meant that I tried to post as much as I could in my first match thread because I thought the more you posted, the more the Sim liked you! Well, was I going to learn a very big lesson.... And you allowed it to happen you old campaigner.
In all seriousness, was great to have you as my first Captain and always enjoy the banter with you. Plus, your taste in music is alright.

Always one of my favourite rooks, porps. Sweet innocent no evil porps.

The Filth Wizard showed enormous faith in me when he begged me to join recruited me to the SFA and in return I broke his heart after one season (yes, I do feel bad for that)

Despite this he has always been a good friend and always happy to help me whenever I need it. I owe a lot to filthy for helping me get to where I am as I'm sure I wouldn't be a captain, or at least not a very good one if it wasn't for him. 1 of only 2 posters I have friended on FB. He's just an all round good guy.

Adding on, The Filth Wizard is my internet father.

He used lies and deceit to get me to join. He actually had me believing he supported Luton, not just came from the shithole. I didn't understand simple things back then (some may say I still don't) and didn't see under his av he was a dirty rotten Gooner. I will never forgive him for that, bar Dennis Bergkamp.

I certainly don't agree with everything he says or does, but that's part of what makes this place great, the sides and the stoylines.

His PMs are ALWAYS open, and he and the sadly absent Noobz0r have had more influence on my journey than any other posters in the league. The understanding and the laughs that we had around the times of the BC/GC kerfuffle were outstanding.


After only playing on the same side for one season, I do harbour dreams of again gracing the qooty field as team mates again. Maybe in my 300th, there would be some poetry in that.

In all seriousness though, congrats to The Filth Wizard, I still see him as the League admin mainly because I feel he fit the role perfectly.

Although I’ve never been hugely into the SFA, I’ve loved the werewolf interactions. You’re just too good at that game.

Our interactions in the Song Contest and Club Room precede and probably still exceed our SFA ones but it’s the occasional PMs I treasure most as I’ll never forget kindness when it is shown to me, even from the most unlikely of places - #Respect
