Because he will drink anything, heck he'd drink turpentine if he had half a chance

He drinks to show bouncers the way, he also eats crackers to balance himself out.

Does Cuzzy do this? No he takes a holiday in California and gets his old man to face the music.

Jeff faces his demons head on, and kicks the winning goal after the siren. :thumbsu:

Would you rather he didnt at all?

Or should his dad have spoken at the press conference on his behalf? :thumbsu:

So despite the numerous other incidents, it took the last straw when he was about to be sacked by the club before he finally admitted he had a problem in order to gain leniancy and keep his job

A little bit too conveniant he chose then to come out and admit his problem

Why didnt you answer my question, and learn how to spell. Basic literacy is not your forte it seems.

Oh, and he was never going to be sacked ala Gardiner. :thumbsu:

Ahh Pavlova, the Dockers themselves admitted that Farmer was on his last chance after the Bouncer incident yet he screws up again and he gets off because he admits he has a drinking problem.

Considering your past history of spelling and grammatical mistakes i wouldn't point fingers if i was you

Why wont you answer the questions I posed to you? Are they too hard?

I pay you the courtesy of answering your questions, you are either a poor sport or handicapped to a degree which inhibits your ability to respond in the correct manner.

I think a little from column A and a little from column B. Come back when you have the balls or the argument to be competitive. :thumbsu:

Yes it's good he finally admitted his problem, the fact he chose to do this to get sympthy and stop himself from getting sacked smacks of desperation however.

And well done on speaking himself, however see above for why he did it

I just cant see what your argument is, on one hand you have a bloke, who had an alcohol problem, he has admitted that.

He has had alot of chances and now that he has faced the problem, admitted that he is progressing well.

On the flip side, you have a bloke, with an addiction to Ice, who has had god knows how many chances, hasnt admitted to his problem, legged it to Malibu and got his father to take the fall and admit his problem.

Tell me, are trying for the moral high ground? :thumbsu:

No im not trying to take the moral high ground, my clubs got off field problems which is something i can admit to. The question is Pav are you willing to come to terms with the littany of offences of your own club and start posting bible verses about them?

At the end of the day words mean absolutely nothing. It's the actions one take that allow for judgement. By going to rehab, returning to enormous amounts of scrutiny, having to face family/friends/business associates/team mates and club officials/AFL hierachy, as well as being subjected to the most drug tests ever required by one player, I think he is showing how to deal with the problem.

Why should he come out and make a statement to the press when his actions are doing all the talking for him?? Is it just so sensationalist journalists (Hutchy, Caro for example) and BF posters (like yourself and baxter) can assume the pedestal and glorify their/your personal vendettas??:confused:

Words mean nothing? Tell that to Luther or JFK.

Why is Kane having a crack at Jeff? He's in a similar boat and because he admitted his problem he is being hung?

This started out as a tongue in cheek swipe at your club and their continual problem, Kane the tossbag that he is, has a go at a player who has had the guts to admit to his problem instead of asking his dad to do the hardest part.

Admit the problem.

I've got nothing against Ben Cousins, even though he is the Devils handywork.

It just makes me laugh sitting here and watching a moron you call a fellow supporter cast stones at someone for doing the right thing. :thumbsu:

Coming out and saying "I have a problem........" when your career that pays you a couple of hundred grand a year would be a fairly easy thing to do.

In order of the bolded sections.

1) What are you smoking to compare AFL players to JFK & Martin Luther King???? Maybe I should have said ".....apologetic words mean nothing, it's the actions one takes that count".

2) You and Kane are doing exactly the same thing, Kane's hanging a player for using words to show he's sorry, you're hanging a player who's using his actions to say he's sorry.

3) One of the most ridiculous statements made on BF. I have never called Kane a "fellow supporter", the fact he supports the same team as I do is as relevant as you using JFK & Martin Luther King to help your waning argument.

You and Kane are exactly the same, both being very hypocritical on this issue.

This is not true, Pav is human Kane is insect.

Today's reading is reserved for the man who oversees all evil in this evil club. Trevor "Prince of Darkness sidekick" Nisbett, classy :thumbsu:

Ephesians (6:12 )

'For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.'

Regards to Trevor. :thumbsu:

That's ridiculous. That's an embarrasing viewpoint. You must lead a very sheltered life. :thumbsu:

Oh, and yes I was using JFK and Luther to prop up my flimsy argument, just like I have been completely serious throughout this thread. :thumbsu:

What actions are proving his sorry? I would suggest that all actions are for his health not to show his sorrow. :thumbsu:

I wouldn't say it's too ridiculous for someone who eye gouged an opposition player and then despite all video footage proving otherwise lied and said he didn't do it. Compared to that, saying "I've got a problem...." to save a very well paid job, isn't too much of a stretch. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

BTW, it's hard to distinguish when you go from serious to sarcastic and back again in the one thread when the only emoticon you use is :thumbsu:.

Gee, thanks for the revelation. If that's true, you've just proven yourself to be closer to Kane than Pav. :thumbsu:
No worries. He can type really fast because he has six legs. Though hes not much chop with spelling and logically based arguments.

Closer to kane than pav? thats impossible, I'm not into satanic worship.

Why are we talking about Judd? :thumbsu:

Here's one for you, go into the West Coast store and ask if Cuz has apologised to the team girls for claiming to take jumpers to PMH when in fact he was signing them, and loaded them off the his biker mates for a hit.

Ask how is actions show that he is sorry without actually saying it. :thumbsu:

Nice use of the deflecting bracelets there Wonder Woman. :thumbsu:

You do get boring very quickly when you keep regurgitating the same vitriol.

Unlike words actions take time, the proof will be there, a little patience is needed. And being a dockers supporter you must have plenty of that.
