Personally if your interest is still at peak then you're a pure motor racing enthusiast and don't care what brands are racing around.

IDK, but it doesn't look like V8 supercars has lost many if any fans.

I do wonder why this is.

Back in the late 60's into the 70's and beyond it was all about race on Sunday and sell on Monday, Holdens and Fords.

Me? I'll watch the news reports and occasionally flick over for a lap or two, for me as an old timer it's lost its lustre.

IDK, but it doesn't look like V8 supercars has lost many if any fans.
First time for me at Bathurst and it looked like there were plenty of people about. The car park was certainly full anyway! Nearly everyone I saw had merch - definitely a higher proportion than an AFL game.

No doubt the lack of Ford v Holden has lost some people but it's probably a bit like F1 where fans have their favourite teams and drivers rather than engine manufacturers.
