I have no idea what it was

The most I’ve watched is the last 10 minutes of the last quarter in Covid and thought how dumb it was to not have iced the lead…how quickly the game has changed

Anyway the OP deserves a 5 year ban from BF

They can jam this thread where the sun doesn’t shine

As a youngster then hated it..
Loathe it ….
Nothing has changed all these years later ..

This game changed the way I viewed footy. I would reach great heights of ecstasy an̈d happiness from seeing North win in 93/94 . This day broke my heart, and it was eyes wide open after that.

By the time we won in 1996 (after losing to Carlton on a rain-soaked day that suited them), my initial feeling was relief, the happiness and joy came later.

Buddha Hocking second best player on the ground. The Duck missed a few but my word was he on another planet that day. The umpiring was even worse than the lop sided free count suggests. I've never seen another robbery like it. I wanted to strangle Bairstow. Sat there with a group of North mates at the top of the old olympic stand after the siren for what seemed like an eternity hearing their song over and over. Devastating loss like no other.
