Whoever produces it must be 21 years old and have no idea of footy pre 2005
They did the top 15 debuts and 12 were from 05 onwards

Same with the greatest entertainers and goals, they are all 80% post 05

Maybe it's a licensing issue. I watched some of the debuts one and they were all from Fox Footy matches. Maybe they only have access to their own footage?

If Leo Barry's mark was taken in the 2nd quarter, it would have been long forgotten by now. Surely there's more to a great mark than just when it was taken. Both of those marks were in Grand Finals, and Jezza himself has said many times he doesn't understand why people gush over it as he took many better marks at practice.

If it was "most important" marks then maybe, but the "greatest" doesn't necessarily imply that. Show is mainly horrid, the greatest debuts episode was noticeably toned down in cringe from hosts though compared to the one I watched earlier in the year.

If Leo Barry's mark was taken in the 2nd quarter, it would have been long forgotten by now. Surely there's more to a great mark than just when it was taken.

That's what really annoys me about that mark as well. On a technical, pure level, there are better marks than that taken all the time, and probably that day.

Was it one of the more important/convenient/helpful/timely marks taken in recent times? Sure.

Was it one of the best marks ever taken? Not even close.

I don't know and I don't want to know. Fm radio hosts are the worst.
