Surely if there actually is some sort of deep state cabal they’d be able to rustle up better assassins than a couple of cooked units like these two. The US is crawling with army vets and hunters who can drop an insurgent/deer a mile away with the right equipment, why not get one of those guys if you really want your political rival unalived?
Honestly it's Storm trooper levels of incompetence.

It's a nation where you can buy a long range, high caliber rifle perfect for assassinations, from kmart; yet this all powerful deep state only saw fit to issue low power assault rifles

lol at the Kennedys and Reagan not being part of the political establishment
The Kennedys were 'outside' in their day. Joseph spent a shitload trying to get two of his boys noticed and accepted by the establishment. Even when JFK was elected, he brought his brother in with him because he didn't trust anyone. Got stung with the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Some believe that when Jack started talking about deescalating involvement in Vietnam, that's when the establishment realised they couldn't control their puppet.

The Dulles brothers. There's the political 'establishment.'

So what happens now after the Dan Andrew’s accident review findings?

Something has to happen right? Right?????
So was he on the right or left ? Was the car on the right or left ?
Was Fox involved?
Did the bike also crash down some steps ?
Will anything happen. Yeah right 😎

“290 million will be spent on football operations, while the remaining $250 million will reportedly be spent on education and social welfare in the Pacific nation.”

I’d say we could use $250 million on education and social welfare right here. Not sure how this spend benefits Australians?

I'm pretty sure that a percentage of the budget has to be allocated to foreign policy and aid. If we're not doing that for the closest third world country to us, where should we be doing it instead?

What's wrong with the $700m+ we're already giving them annually?

Also with zero research I expect this cash is on top of the baseline ODA.

I wasn't sure of the figures before, but yeah, fair argument

Give me world class domestic health, education and infrastructure outcomes and I’ll give you my endorsement to spend billions on foreign aid.

Foreign aid to places like PNG is becoming somewhat of a priority given China is increasingly involved there.

As a nation we’re probably rich enough to have world class domestic health, education and infrastructure outcomes as well but one side of politics is too scared to do anything ambitious and the other is hellbent on minimising their involvement in all of that stuff.

We're like a bunch of Saudis who can't fly single engine cesnas trying to handle commercial passenger liners...it only works in a fantasy.
What the story with this? I’ve only heard the official version with some vague allusions to it being total bullshit
