Now that I'm in my 40s and no longer boning on a regular basis, my absolute favourite cigarette is the one when you're out on the deck and the temp drops 7-10 degrees in the course of your dart.

I've never really smoked but I always imagine a smoke while stopping on a long road trip in the middle of nowhere and that smoke after breakky

Have you spent a winter there yet?

Melbourne is in a situation now where it's the first warmer than warm night in a while which makes it more annoying to deal with than it really is.

I know I recycle the same chat each summer, but what grinds my gears is finally getting used and thus adapting to the hot sweaty nights, then a week or less of cooler or normal weather nights... before the hot sweaty nights start again. I'll be used to it and sleep through it by Monday night...before it gets cooler again Tuesday night onwards.

It would be LESS frustrating if it was a constant hot weather spell not 5 days on 5 days off then 5 days on again.

There’s all sorts of sorcery going on now. Even within days. It’s going hot - cold - hot within one day sometimes. It’s mental.

It's summer, it gets hot.

I'm not trying to be some hero but yeah it was warm today but it wasn't absolutely sweltering.

If anything it's been a fairly mild summer, we've not had many days over 30.

Melbourne's becoming an increasingly more temperate environment I think.

Was bucking down earlier plus hail. Thunder and lightning.
Torquay high way was shut past big round about 2 police cars blocking the road.
Other side was pretty much block they had people driving in the bike lane..
Seen SES out n about and more flashing lights on my way home.

Says it's 22degrees..after the rain feels warmer.

I have liked this summer to date had lots of days down the beach with my doggies and not super hot burn your feet on the hot sand kind of hot.
Been quiet a few days around 25-28/9.
Not many over 30..⛱️.
