Kardinia Park today there were some stinkers going against both Geelong and Adelaide - Meanwhile players can throw the ball out and not get penalised...

The decision against Douglas were he marked a ball that was touched, immediately tackle and pinned to the ground - holding the ball - Ridiculous...

Agree. He lies there in disbelief and gets pinged, yet if he makes a token effort to pretend the punch the ball, he probably gets away with it.

The rule gets more confusing each week. Guys can get tackled beautifully and just drop it and get off scot free, you go in to get the ball fro the ground and you get pinged.

Completely agree... they are dumbfounding. Similar one against Christiansen who was tackled immediately after taking possession, and was paid HTB.

AFL need to work on their interpretation of "opportunity", and "making a genuine attempt". ATM its completely ludicrous, and ruining the game.

They made this rule harder to umpire with the different conditions if you had prior opportunity or not, or what classifies prior opportunity. It seems if the crowd screams loud enough then you had prior opportunity.
