I have 4 trades left before trades this week. Will do Austin to Witherden to get COR off the field, leaving me with 3 trades. My bench cover on all lines would be COR/Lynch, Giro/Sier/MOC, Cameron, Fritz/Ahern. What is the recommended strategy for my last 3 trades? Should I improve my mid bench ASAP or just hold onto trades for injuries?

Injuries unless you can afford premo bench cover (ie basically an injury replacement anyway).

Damnnn I thought I was going to struggle with 4 trades. 2 trades will be used this week though I think. What is your cover like? My fwd cover is the only one I’m happy with. Really wish I could somehow get Ahern to the mids but that is going to be impossible without sacrificing another trade

As long as most of your bench coverage play you could scrape home.

I was in a similar position 2 years ago all out by round 18 when Gazza went down, but had no ruck coverage and was 69th. Stef and Sauce then go down for 2 week injuries each stuffing me up, had about 4 donuts from them. Came 463rd.

Yeah,

Did the same thing many years ago when I came 7th. overall...but 1 more trade (Sandi in ruck to Leunberger) and I would have won it.

Stupidly took Crossley over big O this year for byes, so not really any Ruck cover to speak of, as looks like he will be out this week....fingers crossed on Martin/Gawn.

Main leagues are really all AFL DT (ranked 194 overall in that), so if I crash and burn, so be it, been a fun, if difficult year.
