Listening to Bevo he has **** all chance of playing
I'd think Beveridge was too old to be playingListening to Bevo he has **** all chance of playing
I agree if someone doesn’t want to be there then you have to move them on.While it would be a great disappointment to cut ties with a young man that has enormous potential, I agree with the sentiments of taking a stand. You're either in it with the club 100% or you're not. If Ugle-Hagan shows the same professionalism as the rest of his teammates moving forward I'll support him 100% as a member of our great club. This remains to be seen and there's only so long this can continue before a hard decision needs to be made.
If a potential trade involved a gun young midfielder and a more than solid young KPD I think we'd be silly not to consider it. Darcy and Naughton are good for the next 8 years as a pairing, while Croft could be anything.
It’s only really been him and Smith in recent yearsI agree if someone doesn’t want to be there then you have to move them on.
But I think the club may also need to consider if we have the right environment currently. It’s not normal to have this many top tier talent want to leave. I’m not saying we don’t have the right environment, maybe it really is just bad luck, but we need to work it out quickly otherwise we’ll keep losing players for minimal returns.
I think the only one we can really say was an environment problem was Dunkley. Pretty much everyone else who has left in the Beveridge era had some some fault of their own.I agree if someone doesn’t want to be there then you have to move them on.

We're in the strongest position in our history. While the trend of losing potentially 3 guns in recent years isn't great, our culture never affected many of our other young stars. One Joel Freijah right now who has captain material written all over him.I agree if someone doesn’t want to be there then you have to move them on.

You’ll need to catch the whole segment rather than the small clip they have posted on socials. It sounds like he’s unlikely to be there next year is my interpretation. What did bevo say?
True but they haven’t had some of their best young players request to leave either.“culture” is the most overrated word in footy.
Geelong have had a few incidents over the last few years and could have arguably the biggest off field footy scandal ever in the courts soon. Ever hear anyone question their culture? Nope.
No one gives a shit about culture unless you’re not winning. Just as Melbourne..
Let the lad go. We all have demons, regrets at what might have been. Good luck to you, young Ugle-Hagan.The whole situation stinks. F****** disgraceful.
Again we get screwed over by a d***head player and again (confidence or not) it's a Connors Sports Management client.
Wasted a number 1 pick and now that pick is taking the p***.
The club owes him no more of its time now. Trade him for maximum value and get on with life.
It would be equally negligent not to consider whether there is something wrong with our psychological profiling of and due diligence on draft choices in the recruitment department. You’ll need to catch the whole segment rather than the small clip they have posted on socials. Losing Marra would be massive. The guy is a number 1 pick. In his case it sound like it’s a him thing rather then an us thing. Just saying no other Vic club is losing young talent like this so the club would be negligent to not consider if there is something wrong with our environment.
This was the most telling part for those who were unable to watch the whole thing.
It’s a good point. and why I hope the Club is at least considering if our environment is contributing to it.I’d love to know why Jamarra thinks the grass will be greener elsewhere. Does he know he will still be expected to kick a bag of wind around wherever he goes?
He is doing on purpose he is getting it he is running the clubs face in it.Still posting photos on his socials about his public appearances.
He just doesn’t appear to get it.
