I like, though don't love, Zelda the way other Nintendo players do so it probably falls out of my price range, but I like it as a set. Seems to have been given a fair bit of a care with it's references and stuff. I suspect it'll be extremely popular, hopefully it leads to a bit more of a budget range soon. Give me The King of Red Lions boat from Wind Waker and I'll be there day 1.

It's a good concept and has the two most iconic versions of the Deku Tree - but another problem is that you have to build one OR the other. And only the richest among us will spend $700 for two identical sets.

Might wait for a discount as, similar to you, I like Zelda but I don't love it the way other fans do. I do like the four minifigs, loads of references and no stickers though. I hope to see Hyrule Castle perhaps one day...

Taken them a while to release a Zelda set, they've featured in Ideas reviews for ages. I'm not familiar with the game but to me this isn't as interesting as some of the past submissions.

Technically this one refers to two different games (Ocarina of Time, the Nintendo 64 one that redefined the series as a 3D platformer, and Breath of the Wild, the massively popular Nintendo Switch game). I agree it's not that interesting but people will buy it just for the minifigs.

Big W have a teaser catalogue of their winter Toy Sale on their website now. Sale starts Tues 11/6 and usually includes reasonable discounts on a Lego selection. These days it's not as good as it once was, but if there's anything you're looking at, could be a good time to buy. Also includes some of the new June 1 sets. Amazon usually price match.

See if they bump up prices first…

I noticed Myer has 20% off, but the prices start 10% higher than everywhere else so it’s really only 10% off.

I went and did a quick check at Big W for the upcoming sale. Set 10330, the Senna McLaren, is listed at $110 and "coming soon to toy sale". Its RRP is $100, K Mart's regular price is $78 and I bought this myself in Target's last sale for $71.

Presumably Big W will knock off 20% and price it "on sale" at $88.

Thanks eddiesmith for the heads up. Buyer beware I guess, but I thought it was illegal to jack up regular prices and then claim you're discounting them in a "sale".

I'm going to be a party pooper and boring at the same time but give me the "master sword" in Lego form. Or a Tri Force in the style of the ? Super Mario block and I'd buy either (or both) instantly. And I was never a die hard Legend of Zelda fan :p

My wife wants Simba, so I have to get up at 4.30 to order online, because I know it will sell quick

Both of these look great, hope she enjoys the build.

EDIT: Just noticed amazon has this in stock so if you wanted to be sure of getting one that's an option. Not included in their current sale unfortunately.

Big W have it 30 bucks cheaper in their sale

The only online retailer I can find with 60440, the Lego Delivery Truck, seems to be K Mart. I hope it's not an exclusive there, because that will make it impossible to get, just like Galaxy Explorer was.

Beats me why Lego does this, especially at K Mart who are renowned for never having stock.

Just means otherwise the only way to get it is to pay full whack. At $170 that's a big ask.

Sorry for being a party pooper, but I just bought it for $139 via K-Mart click and collect. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow. Yay Perth, I guess.

This one snuck up on me, seems good value for 1000+ pieces, playable, and a great display piece too.

Edit - even at full price it seems out of stock on Lego Australia. This might be a sleeper hit. Now dearly hoping Kmart doesn't just cancel my order for reasons.

Insert Eagles fans booing at Optus Stadium noise here (tried to find an old video :() :p

The Lion King - Simba set is mighty tempting to be my next purchase.

Fingers crossed. Thanks for the update, I'll try it today. I can't remember the last time I ordered from K Mart and actually received it :(.

EDIT : Ordered for delivery, as not in stock locally. Let's see what happens ;)

Simba $170 in stock at Amazon.

I can get it slightly cheaper via a discount. Would love to know if it's going to be reduced at the BIG W toy sale, as I'd just buy it there (risk/reward - it's not a set that I'm dying for... but I think it'd be a fun build and nice display piece).

I did see they'll have the Millemium Falcon for $1149. That might be a future purchase!

Showing in the Big W teaser catalogue at $170. Amazon are already matching.

The UCS Falcon is in Amazon's current sale at $982.
