They are 50 years old and came with the house. Italian raised tiles. I love them too. except when I drop something on them.

It was bloody $650 at other retailers anyway. Maybe they were overcharging initially

For sure. We saw similar significant reductions for Foosball, Black Panther mask and a handful of other sets iirc.

I think there are currently four colours for Minifigure skin tones - light nougat, nougat, medium nougat and reddish brown. All should be readily available, having been around for a while.

Looking forward to seeing 1) how big it is and 2) how solid the stand is.
From the reviews I've seen it's as long as the Saturn V is tall. For that reason I think I would struggle to find somewhere to put it.
Early build reviews have been very positive. Lots of very clever techniques. The stand appears to hold the weight well and securely.
Was given Eldorado Fortress for father's Day. Looks a hoot to build alongside Barracuda Bay.
