Here's my community service for the day...

Anyone ever looked into DK Displaying acrylic boxes on Amazon?

This was the beautiful display box I was expecting:

This is the piece of absolute unusable shit that I received:

I'm really friggen angry, just as well Amazon are letting me return it outside the return period!

Almost looks like Lego!

Some great sets. Gizmo will sell out for sure.
Id want the PS2... but then I'd have to buy the Atari, SNES etc lol

I wonder if the acrylic display cases on Big W marketplace are any better. They have one for the McLaren F1 for $75.

If I were to hazard a guess, I bet it's the same seller on the Big W marketplace.

In the spirit of Ideas - that is, sets that Lego would never otherwise consider developing themselves - the Turing Machine is awesome. Too many Ideas sets these days are just IP that Lego hasn't already done. They're all great sets, but not really "ideas".

Yeah that Turing Machine will be a day one purchase for me if it goes ahead. Incredible.

The cliffside house is a cool idea, solves my lack of shelving dilemma lol. Functional microscope could be cool.
Simpsons set would be right up my alley, but all the other simspons sets are discontinued and overly inflated everywhere.

Strong rumours that Krusty Burger is coming this year. The original two sets are definitely worth having, I'm just sore I didn't think to pick up all the CMFs.

None of the ones currently on the Lego site appeal to me. I think there may have been a ferris wheel previously. That's probably more my thing

I'm in one of the funks as well. I don't need to buy anything, but I like having something to aspire to.

I keep coming back to the lighthouse.

The Ferris Wheel was one of the Creator Expert fairground sets, but yeah the mechanism was Technic (like the others in that series).

Mario and Yoshi had a satisfying amount of Technic in the build. A good one to dabble in if you wanted to get your feet wet.

looks ok imo
i also like the treehouse for some reason
prob because it's something different

im thinking of a purchase as i have a gift card (and could prob add a bit to it)
i still need gringotts from the HP series
the new lot has just come out as well ffs

Love the look of the Pandas and Bamboo, might have to take a trip to the shop (has anyone seen any of the Jan 1 releases anywhere else yet? Some of them are listed for Feb 1 release at amazon but no-one seems to have them now).

My Tudor Corner appears to be stuck in Sydney. My fault for living in Australia's backwater .

The Lighthouse is a good build (although expensive I thought). It works very realistically as they developed a custom lens piece for it.
