I assume everyone is hoping Newcastle go down.
I hope any other (than Leeds) three teams go down but it would be a laugh if they did considering the takeover. Don’t think they will though, reckon they’ll get enough talent in January to get them above that

Will they? What player signs for a team who could be 7-10 points adrift of safety by January? Apart from Norwich they have pretty tough fixtures coming up.

I do now. Terrible appointment. They get what they deserve from here
Yep that’s what we’re all thinking. Appointing Howe is why we want them to go down

Money talks. Article they may loan Coutinho for example.

In 4 of their next 5 games they have Brighton, Brentford, Norwich and Burnley. May get some bounce from new manager.

Then a tough late Dec. Their 3 Jan games are Saints, Watford and Leeds. By Feb with new players a little more bedded down and still 15 games to go.

They'll certainly have to rely on loans, no player will want to risk going down and being stuck in the Championship for a season, and if they're in danger of going down near the end of the season are the players going to care enough?

Brighton, Brentford and Burnley will all beat them.

Can’t they offer release clause if they get demoted?

Sure but then someone needs to buy them, doesn't always happen. I'd be surprised if they got anyone properly quality in on a permanent.

Maybe Alli, Sterling and Coutinho all in on loan are possibilities, not that Alli is much good these days.

That's like picking between Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson in their prime. There is no wrong answer.

And you'd be bloody stoked to have both.
