Callbacks without being blatant. Tone and score were great and felt new while still feeling SW.

Few very minor kinks to iron out but that was great.

I did love Rogue One, thought it nailed the darkness but wasn’t as fun as it could have been.

The robot was pretty funny.

Main problem with rogue one is the main villian should of been vader. Massive missed opportunity.

I would be partial to believing some negative press would be due to people not wanting to make the ST look even more underwhelming.

It's like when the Ford XR6 Turbo was actually considered a better car than the more upmarket XR8.

I am keen as **** for the next episode.

Just wish they were closer to an hour in length.
Also I reckon there was a good 7-8 minutes of footage of the Mando just walking through the town, could have had some other scenes instead.

Theory that Boba Fett may have appeared in Episode 1, in the scene where Mando walks in a dark cave to get some blacksmithing done, the character is deliberately .....or...it's another explanation (video below describes the other possibilities).

Here's a decent video where two people discuss their impressions and then go into plot detail, and then go into easter eggs.

Their review was basically (underwhelmed, over-hyped themselves, didnt like Mando that much as they didnt show much of him, but they are fully aware it was just the first episode and they still really liked the show)
