What does the length of an episode matter if its quality?
Geez some of you are a bunch of self entitled flogs.
Only thing wrong with it in my eyes. Love it otherwise.

Having filler episodes like ep2 wastes time with what is a short season with short episode lengths when compared to other big shows.

Hey Kent! We complain become it’s not long enough. We want more
Bwwahhh my space Opera is naawwt long enough...so you want to fill it with actual crap for the the 10 odd minutes?

...and I understand that you want more quality, I do...but...

Let the creative story tellers flesh out their episodes whatever the length...do we really want Disney to get cocky again?

When you can't wait to see what happens next at any point in the ep you know someone is doing something right.

It's good but gosh, the current custodians of Star Wars have no idea how the force works, which is ironic because they wrote the line 'that's not how the force works!'.

Also I have no issues about the length of episodes so far or the content. Episode 2 is a filler episode but it is still very entertaining.

Honestly I don't know what people are complaining about and I complain a lot about Star Wars!

Sandwiched between TLJ and TFA and there's a particular plot element that we know will go nowhere big because of that.

I am enjoying it though.

Between TLJ and TFA?

Lol whoops, got my Jedi movies mixed up.

ROTJ and TFA.

Ah ok yeah thought that's what you meant.

But I guess what I'm getting at is it's not as if it's set between IV and V (which is a heavily over-mined period in canon). Between VI and VII there's really not a whole lot we know, we've had a few stories, particularly around the Battle of Jakku, but that's about it. I don't even know if this show is pre- or post-Jakku? If post-Jakku, then there's even less material.

As stated there's a particular plot element emerging that we know will go nowhere meaningful because of the way things are in 7.

I'm guessing it is post Jakku as it's 5 years after Jedi.

Maybe so, remember everyone assumed Ezra would die because Luke's the only Jedi in the OT, nothing is set in stone if it proves popular enough with fans.

It's possible for reasons I can already see, they've already made themselves an out, but yeah, it wouldn't gel entirely with 7.

Doesn't bother me. :D

yep, concur exactly.

TIER ONE
anh, tesb, rotj, ro

TIER TWO
tpm, rots

TIER THREE
aotc, tm (mandalorian), tfa,

TIER FOUR
solo, tros, tlj

Solo was good. tpm was trash because it's a mashup movie, just because the Pod racing scene was amazing doesn't make up for it being very poorly stitched together.

even so, tpm had an actual story/adventure, i think its a highly underrated SW movie. maybe even better than ROTS

"unexplored" isn't a fitting description for a show about a character who looks like Boba Fett with different paint, features rural desert planets for the 8 millionth time, and
a baby yoda.

wat.

How is the rise of skywalker tier four when it hasn't even been released, and TPM is tier two, on par with revenge of the sith? I mean shit, I almost hate the sequal trilogy so far but I'm willing to give it a chance to redeem itself one last time.

im controversial (and misunderstood) just like Kylo :(

but i cant see tros redeeming the ST, and indeed, adding to the facepalm that was TLJ

The only reason I have faith is that this is Disneys last chance, they NEED to nail this otherwise it could be almost game over for Star Wars. I have a bit of confidence JJ is going to produce something that the fans want and not activly try to piss of the fans like TLJ did.

Preparing myself to be dissapointed again, i know.

agree its their last chance, but theres as much chance that they still stuff it up as they rectify things. star wars could really be in death throes, the shark jumped
