One of those crank callers they have was impersonating Tex and claimed that these housing articles keep writing "median" instead of "medium" and that it was a spelling mistake.

Tex asked Roo what Median meant and he said "its the average house price of an area."

To be fair, the word 'median' can still be referred to as a kind of average. Rather than an average of the total, it is just the middle value in the list of numbers. Although I get your point that Roo wouldn't know the difference between the two!

There is one scenario where, if you had three figures, and one was smack dab in the middle of the upper and lower ones, then the mean would be the same as the median.
But it's about the only time it would happen.
And Roo would never be able to understand the logic of that anyway.
He has such an average intellectual ceiling.

Now if only we could get a Fairfax daily newspaper for South Australia to combat the News Corp tabloids.

SEN SA will need a good drive presenter between 4-6pm for it to make a real dent.

Kane on in the mornings gets a kick off for the day and then to Whateley in Melbourne but if they dont have a decent drive host it will stall.

Crocmedia I assume are transferring all their AFL Nation broadcast stuff to SEN SA. That will mean 5AA will get the 3AW feed for games not involving the 2 sa teams. That's good, I prefer listening to 3AW pre game stuff on Saturday arvo rather tha AFL nation drongos like Spud Frawley, Wallace, Del Softo etc.

They are going to have drive time slot closer to the footy season, can't wait. At last a radio program that is trying to provide balanced reporting.
