Who is going tomorrow night, i wouldn't miss it for the world, happily we have sold over 17 K tix for it, which should shut up a fair few critics.

Hopefully Bruce Kamau starts, love that lad.

Wow. I was dreading it being a very small crowd. Will be awesome if it gets around 20k.

Me and my 5year old will be there. I've never seen him so pumped about anything in his life.

Please no extra time/pens or my wife will kill me for bringing him home so late.

Same, taking my little bro into active for the first time and never seen him more excited.

Get in!

Hopefully that gets the proverbial monkey off the clubs back.

Was surprised by the MotM call though, should have been Franjic or Jakobsen for me. The only problem with that is that Franjic was so good he should be a certainty for the Socceroos in that problem RB spot.

I live too far away to go on a Wednesday night, but massive kudos to all those that did. It was a fantastic crowd and a great atmosphere on the telly. Hopefully this results in a greater attendance at our league games and a greater interest in the club across the city.

More relief than ecstasy really, but at least we no longer have to put up with you haven't won anything jibes.

Backing up with a big win against Brisbane and having an excellent December in general is vital. At the end of the day, I think the FFA Cup will be looked on as a significant achievement, but it will closely be tied in to how the winning club actually performed in the main competition. If we go out meekly in the first week of finals, the FFA Cup will be little more than a footnote. If we play in a grand final and win more silverware this season, the Cup win will shine much brighter.

We play the other four teams in the top five in our remaining 2016 games. This is the chance for the club to make a big, big statement and it starts on Saturday at home.

Congrats to you and all the heart city fans!!! Hope this encourages more fans to the club. the sydney love fest from foxsports wouldve been vomit worthy if they won. Thanks for destroying that! But now we have to listen to foxsports love fest about cahill ;)

But you havent won anything yet. No one cares about this mickey mouse comp. The league is the most important *

* if we (mvfc) won this years ffa cup then i say ffa cup is the bestest thing since 4eva!

Have we qualified for Asia with last nights win?

Don't think so. ACL qualifiers at best if we have

I was under the impression that we do. If not the group stage then at least a qualifier. I think the 3 ACL spots go to the winner of the FFA cup, the team that wins the Premiership and the team that wins the Championship.

No ACL qualification for FFA Cup.
The spots are reserved for the Premiers, Grand Final Winners and the runners up in the league. If one side holds two of those, which is more often than not, then the next highest place on the league table gets the third spot.

Ok I've done more research. The 2017 ACL has 3 Aussie teams in it.

Adelaide - winners
WSW - Runners up
Roar - Regular season 3rd place (qualifying rounds)

No sign of cup winners getting in so it looks like we don't get in from last night.

Edit: Bunga got me by 6 mins

Great game last night.
JA and North are tossers,
JA is fine.
North was embarrassing.
But our little champ Brandan does similar simulation every week.

Good result considering the mid-week effort.

I've never seen Bruno drop like North did. Please don't compare the two. What North did was an embarrassment to the game and himself. Deserves a few weeks off.

Brandan doesn't do that either.
