Tell you what, I know it's early in the preseason and it's the Australia cup. But we are getting thumped on the rebound badly in the few games I have seen.

The defensive setup needs to be much better before the season begins proper.

Curtis Good was at fault for both goals. Uncanny.

We've been doing all the attacking but can't break though. Pretty common theme following on from last year

Well disappointing to already be out of one of the trophies. But at least it was to another aleague side.

Better response in the second half but gave me grand final vibes. We just couldn't break through wellingtons defense.

Hopefully we can fine tune throughout the pre season.

Also Talbot with his flying shots aiming for the moon was very frustrating for fans and you could see the players heads drop.

Great performance tonight. Jamo's 300th
Young players Bos, Gomulka and new boy Talbot really stood up.
Glover was brilliant.
Really like the MC version of Berisha- hard, skilled, decisive, and a class above.
And my MVP- great to have him back- Aiden O'Neill- the irreplaceable one.

Was literary about to pay the same thing 🤣.

Good way to start the season..... Except that late bloody gave me last season vibes.

Thought the youth was great. Bos looks like he's improved during the off season.

Jamie Young was the difference in it being a 5+ goal victory margin.... But one night we're going to score 10.

As long as it's v Victory...

That is genuinely one of the worst calls I've seen. League has lost the plot. How is that remotely close to a red.
Unsurprisingly a shocker. Clear on replay the is no studs showing. But like every VAR decision - whatever you expect it to be will be the opposite.

It will be down graded during the week.

Both players do the exact same motion and neither make any actual contact of feet to person. A shin contact maybe.

Ref should be embarrassed he produced a red and more so for upholding it.

Two games, two ref shockers.

I can cop the ref pulling out the red as some of those styles of challenges can be pretty savage.

He took a long time to blow the whistle, and you can't pay advantage and then hand out a red card.

I can't cop him having a good look at the replay and going "yep, straight red"

Think it's a shocker on both. Hopefully the league has more sense and overturns it.

Good result considering VAR is out to get us this season. We never looked in danger and handled the 10 men situation with ease.

Feel like last season we lose points in a game like that.
