Mr Stein claimed Charlise was not shot with a stolen .22 BSA rifle found buried in the Blue Mountains bushland with his fingerprints on it, but another different stolen rifle of the exact make, which had never been found.

I’m sure I read that there was a phone call where the wilderstein witch told him to get rid of the rifle off the property, leave it in the fire break?
Either this woman is willfully lying to protect her scumbag child killing son or she is just completely stupid

She’s trying to avoid the estate being a declared a scene of a serious crime that needs to be disclosed when selling and subsequently significantly devaluing the property.

I wasn’t entirely sold on JS being the alleged perpetrator but after the last few days it’s pretty hard not to be.

For her, the bucks are more important than the acknowledgement and justice for what happened to that poor girl.

Also changed her story about C being in the car on the trip home from Sydney.

It certainly appears that way from what has been released publicly.

She should be charged with perjury!
I’m seriously wondering if she has a new grandchild floating about.
I know that in odyssey house Victoria they have a parents program , people have given birth and are able to keep their babies with them in the program. DHS won’t take the child as long as the parent is doing the program and had the support of their peers etc

So finally we got both the alleged Prosecution and Defence motives revealed yesterday in court.

...
Justin Stein's motive to shoot Charlise Mutten dead was to cover for drugging the schoolgirl with a powerful sedative, jurors have heard as his trial draws to a close.

....
Defence barrister Carolyn Davenport SC began her closing address on Wednesday by reminding the jury of Ms Mutten's history of drug use and mental illness.

Ms Davenport suggested at the time, due to problems in their relationship, she was feeling rejected by Stein.

"She was really hypersensitive to personal conflict," Ms Davenport told the court.

"In order - who knows - to gain attention, to win Justin Stein back, she killed her child."

IMO Jury will have no trouble finding perp JS Guilty today.

He'll have 20years + to look forward to - a double bunk cell with a rubber mattress.

IMO exactly what he deserves.
20+ years and hopefully gets beaten to a pulp a few times to give the piece of sh** a notion of what it feels like to be defenceless.

Ha! I knew it! What else did he do to her, I’d like to know 😡

The accusation against Kallista just sounds lame.

'...
Justice Helen Wilson spent several hours on Thursday morning delivering her summing up to the jury, including summarising both sides of the case, as well as the crucial legal elements which they will consider during their deliberation.

The 12-person jury retired to consider their verdict at 12.54pm.

“Take as much or as little time as you need,” Justice Wilson told the jury.

(assuming he is found guilty), the judge won't be allowed to set an appropriate sentence but at least we can be certain that his fellow prisoners have special ways of treating kiddy killers and will make every day hell for him.

It’s 2024, the corrective system puts security measures in place for at risk prisoners so I doubt if he is found guilty that the old school prison justice will be delivered.

You never know: some prisoners have not much to lose, maybe some weird kind of personal redemption to gain, and plenty of time to await an opportunity...

Potentially. I think knowing that people who commit serious crimes and are at risk typically stay in isolation with very little human contact helps me feel that sense of justice. Knowing they’ve all the time in the world to just ruminate on what they’ve done, how they got there, why they deserve it etc.

Psychological punishment arguably much more damaging than a few physical assaults.

Not much greater punishment than guilt and shame.

Jury back to continue deliberations on Tuesday next week.

'This afternoon, Justice Helen Wilson sent the 12 jurors home for King's Birthday weekend after they asked to see further transcripts from the trial as they considered their verdict.'

The family might have to cough up for child support if there is a new grandchild

That's a shame, then again we would probably end up paying damages if the prisoners got to him. Really need him to do something to make the police defend themselves.

Would've thought a jury would be given the whole transcripts as a matter of course.
