Current Trial The Murder of 9yo Charlise Mutten - Blue Mountains * Justin Stein Sentenced to Life in Prison

Odd attracts "odd" always.

KM's an addict - so she'll be around those "types 24/7" Dealers - pimps - friends - acquaintances - jail mates.

She has already killed her friend in the car whilst "high" + her own daughter has been murdered whilst supposed to be under KM "care".

There was no care of Charlise. It was neglect.

KM has caused the trauma in her own life.
It's nowhere near enough but it would appear there is ample proof for child neglect which has a five year sentence.

how much did she get paid for that?
It’s a little sickening considering the crime has been solved . Shame on 60 minutes
Wouldn't have been able to get paid if the dpp did the right thing and charged her with neglect given the overwhelming evidence but as usual, DPP took the easy way and let her off to get him.

Watching the interview on 60 Min. Kallista is difficult to watch. Not sure if sedated or just drug f...ed? Seems sorry for herself & doesn't really seen to understand that her decisions led to her child's death. Reminds me how much I hate 60 Min.
Yes, I couldn't watch more than a few minutes. She's sorry about Charlise's death, but mostly for how it has affected herself.

Wouldn't surprise me if she (Charlise's mother) was both charged, and the charges dealt with under the NSW Mental Health Act. With everything from the charges to the court case under a suppression order.

Was there any mention of the child she was pregnant with when Charlise died?

What a shocking story, 60 Minutes. A real pity-party for Kallista. As my wife said, through her tears, just wait for the follow up 'redemption' story in a year or two.

I imagine Kallista was paid for the interview. I would hope that the money is spent on necessities, caring for children, or her rehabilitation rather than fuelling her drug habit. But my hope is probably in vain :(

Whatever money she received for that interview, is probably in trust somewhere.

Who would decide that? Is she under some sort of supervision or care order?

The indications are that she might be IMO. Besides, I can't see 60 Mins paying anything straight to her in the circumstances.

It's the second time someone has died in her care, while she's drug affected not doing her job. It's very difficult to try and find any sympathy for her and it would be terrible PR for 60 Mins IMO if people found out she was paid direct in to her account even if technically, she too is a victim of Justin Stein.

Really?

Outlets were falling over themselves to get Bruce Toowoomba Rapist on TV.

I thought of Prince Andrew interview seeing this. What she said made her feel better, but didn't paint her actions in a good light.
I think watching this made me angry as it is obvious Stein was a drug addicted loser, who I wouldn't let a child anywhere near.
They didn't really speculate what happened the night of the shooting, but most likely he made some sort of inappropriate advance and Charlise was rightly going to tell on him if she could.

Kallista didn’t learn from her accident while on drugs which killed her friend. Her rehabilitation obviously failed. To being on drugs again and having sex while Charlise was missing, to me shows lack of judgment (again) and being irresponsible (again). Then there’s the break and enter and stealing charges. I still cannot find any sympathy for Kallista. I have unending sympathy for Kallista’s parents, police and investigative officers on the case.
Kallista is only about Kallista.. To forgive Stein for such a brutal and horrendous murder of her young innocent daughter is unbelievable and repugnant. Whatever Kallista does or says that makes Kallista feels better, seems to be enough for her.
