I'm interested in the direction here, by adding Joseph they have 10 players on the roster and the break down being(roughly)

PG = Paul, Curry, Payton II, Joseph
SG = Thompson, Moody
SF = Wiggins,
PF = Green, Kuminga
C = Looney

4 PG's !?! I know Curry and Payton play SG more the PG but wow they have a traffic jam and are very light on in the big man department which creates a very bizarre list profile for me considering it felt like watching the Lakers series that they almost bullied the warriors with size and I wouldn't consider the Lakers a big team.
I think the profile will actually be

PG = Paul, Curry, Joseph
SG = Payton II, Moody, Curry
SF = Thompson, Wiggins
PF = Green, Kuminga, Wiggins
C = Looney, Green

Think starting 5 will be

CP3
Curry
Thompson
Wiggins
Green

20+ minutes fron Payton, Kuminga, Looney and some side minutes for Joseph and Moody

Gut feel is a deal in principle is agreed but the holdup is where Herro is going to go. I think Herro probably goes to Utah with Olynk and Horton-Tucker moving on and Portland getting some more picks in all of that. Utah would be a big improver next year in that case

Herro
Clarkson
Markkanen
Collins
Kessler

Agbaji, Sexton, Fontecchio Dunn, Gay

Just need a backup C and that looks good

Don’t really like Herro, Clarkson and Sexton. Feel like In that case they should move sexton on for a better fit/picks.

This will not be the starting 5.

CP3 maybe from the bench and Gary Payton starting but otherwise that looks it to me

Looney best for 20 mins of the bench and Green at C. Think Greens PF days are over myself

Green won't be starting centre for the full season. Looney will start.

Why would Green's days as PF be over? He was a top 3 defensive player last year playing 74% of his minutes as PF.

Playing centre for the full season isn't the answer unless you want to get him injured.

Any clues as to where James Harden is going at all? Nothing stands out as a option at all outside of LA Clippers wanting to move on from Paul George and 76ers willing to go for it all this year and get taxed highly

Clippers. He has all the power really. Philly trade him there or they get ultra fat lazy Harden for a season and get nothing.

Okay so they sit him and have his and Harris cap space freed up the following year.

Harden wants a big deal, teams don't want to offer that because of his age and concerns over his body. If he doesn't play or plays like trash no one will touch him.

I really don't like the idea fo us trying to trade either of LaVine or DeRozan, I feel one of them won't be with us come the start of the regular season though....

Don’t reckon he goes anywhere until at least mid season. Moreys asking price is way too steep (as usual)

He took a contract $14M a year less to stay in Philly last year, so they could sign PJ Tucker and they didn't offer him an extension this year, so he wants out.

Seems fair, but his best fit now is at Philly for a championship ... though the Heat could offer Robinson and their trade exceptions against his salary and keep Herro, I wonder how many 1st round picks Philly would need to agree to that

Someone will touch him, ridiculous to say no one will just because he goes fat Harden. Sure he probably struggles to get a max but plenty of teams like the Clippers would improve with him.

Also, not sure how happy 29 year old Embiid would be wasting a year just to clear space when there's no guarantee they get anyone significant in.

They did not offer him a max or long term deal near a max, so he opted in.

Robinson is a terrible contract, Philly are not taking that deal for a few late firsts.

The whole reason he wants out is because he wants a long term deal, if he wastes this year it will only get worse for him the following year.

Cap space that may or may not lead to someone > crappy role players that don't help them contend and also limit the ability to have cap space the following year.

so the bulls are running it back with their play in team? Would have bet my house they'd be the blow it up team this off season

They can't do it because I think the Spurs still own their first round pick for next year as part of the DeRozan trade (nor sure how protected it is)

Talking about Max last year bro, took cut so Philly stay out of tax, and they didn't pony up this year with 4 years extension so he opted in and probably going to do what he did to Houston when he wanted out, Philly little bit faarked now coz who actually wants him ?

Top 10 protected 2025, it's the pick that Portland owes the Bulls that's rooting the Blazers because it rolls over for the next five years if Protected, so they can't really trade a first round til they sort that out, hence trade everyone keep the pick and go to the draft until 27 and give Bulls nothing, just had to make it's Dame's idea to keep their fans on-side
