Disgusting if true. $100 mill a year.

Have you seen the money that LaMelo and Van Vleet are getting ?

I am glad we signed him, even if for overs (money wise) so we won't get hosed if he wants to leave down the track.

Think Indiana had the best off season. Overpay for Bruce Brown for sure but one they can move on from right away etc. As you said, gives Haliburton the player he needs. Feel Maturtin comes off the bench still as 6th man. Toppin is a A grade pickup for that system.

Haliburton
Hield
Brown
Toppin
Turner

McConnell
Mathurin
Nesmith
Thies
Nwora
Smith

Great depth there too with that bench. All of that and still under the salary cap too

Really hope Toppin kills it in Indy just to enrage Knicks fans :)

So instead of just playing KJ Martin at 1.9, they sign a dinosaur for 6 mill?

Absolute morons.
They need vets. Green is that, so is Fred.

I don;t mind their young core although Im least certain on Green. Yeah no idea why they dumped KJ, though.

They don't control their picks 2027. They simply have to to buy their way out.

Dante Exum a Mav
Vet min, 1 year. I love it. Exum's game really grew in Europe. And he defended Harden better than anyone in that 2018 series.

Current Mavs roster

Powell/Holmes/Lively (project)/ McGee
Kleber/Prosper (project)
Green/Hardaway/Bullock
Kyrie/Hardy/Exum
Luka/Curry

Giant holes up front, and the D is still a fly screen door.

won't be fixed with FAs. Need a trade.

Hope Cecil can stay injury free. Are Dallas resigning Christian Wood?

Wood is borderline an elite offensive big. He finishes, shoots it and has some weird off the dribble shit to his game. He gets bullied inside, but defensive isn't as bad as what is made out. At times, it was good.

He wanted a 4/77 extension which didn't come, and has recieved no interest from anyone.

I don't know what happened off the floor but I'd gladly have him back on the Mavs.

Alot is built around Chet improving the side which seems ambitious. They still seem to be the mid table team for now

I think the salary dumps they took were a okay since they wanna find out if Dieng/Jaylin Williams/Pokusevski/Mann/Joe/Wiggins can improve and so they dont really need more in the rotation for now
OKC well Simic was a gun in Europe and league MVP over there so he's a smoky to make an impact plus the #10 pick Wallace Bertans & Chet probably the new ones into the OKC rotation so they might improve from a play in side to something higher next season all going well imo

mills to the rockets too.
kj martin to the clippers.

what the heck are the rockets doing?......
New coach building culture bringing in role players from winning programs/background that are good enough to start but will also with experience as second unit players

If the young stars don't follow structures etc they can be sat .....

I like that Houston team. They don’t have their pick this year so tanking won’t help. They needed a vet PG.

If they got Lopez rather than Brooks they’d be a sneaky playoff chance.

They got Landale instead of Lopez, was good at Phoenix, Van made Poetl look like an All Star, can he do the same for Jock?

Happy enough with what the Rockets have done. The Van Vleet deal is a lot nicer knowing that year 3 is a team option.
