If we are 2 and 7 going into the Richmond game and the Tigers knock us over I reckon the heat will still be on. I can’t see it being a good look losing to a team that moved on a number of their Premiership players, most in their prime, the year previous. :stern look
Where we getting a 2nd win b4 tiggers?

Will it define where we are at as a football club?

Before the Swans game one would think that Carlton and possibly Essendon were gettable over the next few weeks. But now who can with any great confidence think that?

Come Round 10 we meet Richmond.

Worst case scenario come into the Richmond game 1 and 8 and get rolled by the Tigers. Then shit will be hitting the fan.

Conversely best case scenario we are 4 and 6 after 10 rounds and it could be argued we are heading in the right direction.

As I’m a Doom and Gloom kind of guy I think the worst case scenario is on the cards but I don’t want this to be the case.

Where will be at after Round 10? :stern look
Richmond always looked the first winnable game of the season, and not that winnable at the MCG. Frankly, we're one win ahead of where I expected at this point. But the bad games are worse and more common than hoped for.

At a stretch Essendon is potentially bad enough game to be competitive and maybe barely winnable, I guess.
After the bye the WA games, Freo are often play a non-scoring style that might not punish a total absence of a defence and West Coast are almost as dismal as North. Richmond in Hobart is 50-50. And St Kilda are well capable of falling apart and kicking 4.20 for a match.

When i did the Squiggle predictor I either got North on one or two wins for the year, the potential for an upset or two along the way of course was/is there to increase that. Melbourne was one of those upsets, though not a huge one.

No chance against*

we will be stuck on 1 win after 10 games and will be lucky to win one more for rest of year.

Another week and another loss. How many of you are surprised? We have won one game from seven and sit second last. We had the heat on us this week from the media. It was a far better effort against the Power which should see the media scrutiny subside for now. Essendon next. Can we win a second game for the season? Hmmm. It’s looking like that Richmond game at the G will be very interesting. :stern look

3-5 was the bare minimum after eight rounds.

We’ve failed to reach that.

The side has too many career failures who can’t execute in high pressure situations.

The bullet has been bitten with Corr and Logue out

There isn’t much option

Play youth and play players in form

That is what the rest of the season involves and then cut those incapables

The seniors that let the side down consistently are still in the side.

Corr and Logue is a start.

The stench of failure starts at the top.

Nearly every trade /late pick has been a miss
Top picks a given to be a good player but the bounce up the ladder is from the trades and late picks.
We’re jinxed
