No doubt he’s playing the game, clicks for cash.

What came of the sexual assault accusations?

Haven't followed it but IIRC cops were getting involved.

He didn’t buy it for profit, he bought it for influence. The bloke has money to burn.

  1. If he bought it for profit, he failed dismally. He took the world's #1 most important social media platform and turned it into a laughing stock.
  2. If he bought it for influence, he failed miserably. He has tanked his own reputation over the past 24 months to the point he's now personally a laughing stock.
And this is the guy who wants to put computer chips into our brains?! Hard pass, thanks.

2. The platform has grown in engagement since he took ownership…look it up.

The advertisement revenue is down, but again, Musk didn’t buy to make money. He can run it at a loss and it won’t affect his day to day life at all, he’ll still be absurdly rich, even if Twitter collapses tomorrow hes so rich that future generations of his family will be wealthy. When someone is the known richest man in the world (outside of the Saudi’s, Putin etc..) spends a third of their fortune just to control a social media platform, knowing it’s not worth what he paid, but he did it anyway…because he can afford it.

3. If you think twitter is a laughing stock, I assume you’re no longer on the platform?

I don't know if Twitter was the world's most important social media platform but hard agree on the rest.

I think he didn't mean to buy it at all, actually.

Hahaha no it has not. Elon has sneakily used very specific metrics to try and make it look like engagement is up. But it's unequivocally down.

Here's some 2024 sources for you to "look it up";

As of February 2024, the social network’s daily app users in America had fallen by 23% since November 2022, just after Musk completed his takeover.
-

The U.S. user base has been flat or down every month since November 2022, the first full month of Musk’s owning the app, and in total it’s down 23% since then, Sensor Tower said. The numbers were nearly as bad worldwide, as daily active users on the mobile app fell to 174 million in February, down 15% from a year earlier, the firm said. The worldwide user base has been flat or down every month during Musk’s tenure began except one, when it grew slightly in October and then resumed falling, according to Sensor Tower. Other social media apps experienced modest increases in their worldwide user bases during the same period, according to the research, with Snapchat growing 8.8%, Instagram 5.3%, Facebook 1.5% and TikTok 0.5%.

The advertisement revenue is down

Big understatement lol

Nowhere near as much as I used to be.

Yeah his big mouth wrote a cheque his butt literally can't cash.

He's "loaded" but so was Alan Bond once.

Not only that, but Elon had to take out huge loans from multiple banks to actually buy Twitter, and he hasn't repaid them.

It's causing the banks involved big issues;

Yeah saw that earlier in the week. Tbh he's a spiral now on a whole range of things that won't end well.

Nailing his dick to Trump such a bad move politically, his cars have already been overtaken by Chinese and now Western models and his space business is entirely reliant on government goodwill.

let alone his personal affairs unravelling. You can see why Grimes left him, and she's nuttier than a squirrel's shite herself.

Did Ukraine give us a heads up they would use our equipment to invade Russia?
