well cant say the executive level are not condoning mediocracy. like the recruiting its the replacements that have not been steller. but i still reckon the clarko/viney ticket is the right call at least.

It’s so frustrating watching this Hawks team, they are unbelievably good to watch.

Pace, foot skills and athletic talls. Recruiting ain’t rocket science. They are absolutely nailing their list build.

Their senior players also still doing the job when required.

However they are also likely taking a pretty long view of where we are at and where we are going.

2016 was our last finals. With a root and branch rebuild like what we’ve done with the associated f*** ups we’ve made, looking at 10-12 years from that for a finals return.

It’s a bloody long time and even through the view is a more sure footed one it does not make losses like yesterday easier.
