We didn't trade Wood. He didn't even get drafted lol. The industry thought he was shot, and he only managed to get a train on spot with St Kilda (and training was something he was great at) and then drafted as a rookie in the SSP that preaseason. He managed to get a list spot by the skin of his teeth for heavens sake. The Wood at the end of 2020 was vastly different to what he is showing the last couple of years.

Has been suspended for 4 games.

Won’t get time.

First time offender. Stats say 3% of first time offenders receive custodial sentences for that charge with a 9 month average. Most people jailed for it are repeat offenders with criminal records.

What’s interesting will be if he gets an intensive corrections order or community correction order.

He probably gets away with a conditional release order (old good behavior bond).

Will be interesting if the AFL sack him and tear up his contract for the other two, which is basically supervised bail (CCO) and house arrest (ICO)

He won’t be able to play football with the ICO.

Would need permission to travel with the CCO.

But with Pickett allowed to play during his trial, nothing would surprise me.
