They really needed a way to somehow land a Petracca/Houston to inject something else into this increasingly-plodding team its being exposed as. I'm not sure there's a direct way out either, because the game has moved to pace on the footy and Blues can't keep up for 4qs with the way their list is set up from how I see it
Their engine room is looking pretty one dimensional with cerra and walsh sorta same kind of accumulators. Cripps always plugs away like cunnington did for us but cant do it alone. Still puzzling why they traded out kennedy, his last quarter tonight was epic. Kemp i suppose was a small win.

After I stopped laughing at the end, some of the stuff he said is spot on. Owies and Kennedy are two players they could do with right now, I know there were some issues with Owies but it did seem a strange move and like Snapper said they couldn't give enough midfield time to Kennedy, dear oh dear, at the moment Sam Walsh is a shadow of himself, Paddy Cripps is trying his guts out and some of the others go okay but aren't matchwinners/can change a game, as for not giving more kids games, the selection board probably feel they need some more mature bodies in there but I understand what Snapper is going on about.

Last years trade period turning into a disaster for the Blews. Effectively traded pick #12 and their future 1st & 2nd for Jagga Smith. Currently playing like a bottom 6 team.
And the Hawks have their R1 and R2. Might get them the kid they wanted in their NGA Ollie Greeves after all. FFS.

They should be playing some young guys like Binns and Moir, who showed something last year. Are they injured?

Darcy was drafted straight after No Chase Jase.

Funny how we could end up with Wardlaw and our own version of him, Goad, thanks to Jase.
Lol .. I think Sam is probably the best talent in the league right now. Goad is years away from having an impact at AFL level

No point in having a gun forward if you can’t get the ball to him
You can bomb it on his head, he’s a player that wont care how its delivered. I despise his old man, but oh boy that kid is the complete package. He’s tough, he moves like a 180cm player, kicks it a mile, hands like a vice, smart..

I reckon Ducks GOAT status could be under threat

Thank goodness (as the recent Age three part series explained) it’s a new mature Carlton that is patient and humble and can deal with all this sensibly. Hahahahahahahahahahahahanaha.

Exactly! As far as I know they aren't injured and Jaxson Binns was looking around at the end of last year if I remember correctly but Carlton waited right to the end of the trade period and then offered him a contract, with the way they are going at the moment if he doesn't get many opportunities I can't see him staying there. Ashton Moir has some talent and needs to find some consistency but yet another who should be getting games this year if his form warrants it.

Have spoken to Carlton supporters, and they really don't rate Binns.
