Jim/Pam is and always has been the Office. They're important, can't just forget about them now with <5 eps to go.

I love the Jim and Pam thing, it's tense but it's nice and different at least.
I've never seen the UK version, and I love watching a good love story develop during a TV/movie... so that's probably why I'm hooked.
Never thought I'd see them going to marriage counseling, gonna be a very interesting last 6 eps!
I don't really take an interest in their relationship for the comedic aspect, there are others in the show who do that much better. It's just hard to not be intrigued by a relationship that has developed so much over the show, can't wait to see the ending (they better work things out!)!

No chance, the producers and Carrell have already ruled it out. Pretty poor form IMO considering the show was a massive part of making him a film star. He gave some bullshit excuse along the like of "I'm happy how my character left the show... Michael would come back but not in an on-screen capacity." I'd rather he be honest and just say "nah, CBF, I have enough money now."

Michael Scott coming back would be sooo good!!! I want to know what's happenin' with Michael and Holly in Colorado... And whether or not he's continuing in some capacity in the paper industry!
I just hope that's the biggest misdirection, and then all of a sudden he pops up. Seriously how could they end the show without him? Even if it's like a glimpse or something (not stock footage) would be great.
It's the same with Jason Segal on HIMYM I guess. That show made him a massive TV/movie star and now he won't even stay for the final season after riding through 8 seasons. Ah well, lets hope the above poster is correct and he makes a surprise appearance...

i know it's weird coming from me of all people, but the last ep was literally very good for the bits andy wasn't on, and annoying and drawn out the bits he was

Yeah that was a great double episode. Basically hit all the stuff (with the exception of Michael) that made the office a great show. Dwight and Jim together are always brilliant.
And I can't believe Michael's not going to be back for the finale. Especially as the setting is Dwight and Angela's wedding. Seems wrong he wouldn't make an appearance. I really hope they've just been hiding it.

Good episode! Only thing that annoyed me was Nard-dog getting air time...

i just got into this show recentlty and one of my favourite lines so far is from michael talking about family

Can't agree at all, the last few seasons have been so far below it's own benchmark, it shouldn't go on any longer.
Last episode was fantastic though, would go as far by saying the best since any ep during series 7 when Carrell was still on the show.
