Not yet, but hopefully soon, there is an extraordinarily good number of podcasts out there right now, esp since COVID19 struck globally

Yep, I'm in that boat and just discovered Double Impact. Can't remember the last time I used Spotify for music.

The Bill Simmons/Ringer podcasts are brilliant, especially as he often as smashing guests on.

The Rewatchables is a favourite of mine, although I will skip the latest one (Draft Day is a terrible movie)

Do you listen to The Office Ladies podcast Elmer? Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are going through each episode in order, just did Casino Night. It's very good.

Didnt know about this! Will check it out tonight

The first 6 seasons are now available with deleted scenes, some episodes have as much as 50% extra footage. A lot of it is stuff that's not even on Youtube or anything either so I'm seeing a lot of stuff for the first time

Whereabouts are these available?

Listening to the Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey podcast, they talk a lot about scenes that were in the script and filmed but not in the episode, so it’d be interesting to see some of those.

One in particular, in the episode where Big Tony from Stamford quits but Michael loses it at him and tells him he’s fired, the Office Ladies talked about the following scene where Jan yells at Michael for making him eligible for severance. They talked like it was in the episode but I’ve never seen it, even on reruns. I wonder if the US get a different version or something.

There was a time we did in Australia get a shorter version of the TV shows to fit into our schedules.

They would routinely delete a scene from an episode.

Fox’s various comedy channels run Office eps all the time. That Merger episode was on recently and the scene I was talking about wasn’t in it.

It's available for streaming on Peacock, but you might need to VPN it. I got it from a strong and fast-moving stream of water

The Office (AUST) is now a thing, with a female lead.

Will the cry be "SEXISM !!" when ratings tank and the few who watch it pan it?

This idea is about as sensible as the US Kath & Kim.

The only positive is back when this was mooted the lead was going to be Magda Szubanski so every cloud.

Unless a Working Dog are behind comedy in Aus, don't see how it can be funny.

I feel for the actors that are going to have to follow the US/UK versions.

Seems an odd one to reboot, as you could have technically just written any new workplace comedy and had the same cast without committing to it as an Office reboot.

So I assume as a reboot it will also be set in a paper company (in 2023 ?) and will the manager be more Brent or Scott ?
There was nothing unique about the Office from a conceptual standpoint, so it does seem like an odd one to reboot.
