Mike Brown fired, yikes.

COTY 2 seasons ago
Not too surprising. He has done a terrible job this year

Next coach has to come in and make some big changes. For me id go with

Ellis/Huerter starting with Monk back to 6th man
Murray to the bench. Trade in a PF like Finney-Smith who can defend
DeRozan to get a MUCH MUCH MUCH larger role on the offensive end. He should be taking 15+ shots a game

Murray's their best defender, that's not the problem, outside of his shot going missing this season.

Biggest knock on Brown is the number of 4th quarter leads, home games and close games they've lost. Considering their friendly schedule and decent injury run, they're below where they should be.

Getting Jae Crowder in was a waste of a roster spot, he was done two years ago.

Heading into Friday’s games around the NBA, the Lakers (17-13) had played a conference-high 17 road games, tied with the Utah Jazz for most in the West. Only the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers had played more road games.

Fortunately for the Lakers, they have a load of home games coming up to balance the ledger.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, they will experience the usual sack coach rebounding squad next up

How much larger of a role do you want DeRozan to have? He already gets up 16 FGA's a night (2nd on the team).

He's very much apart of problems of their offensive decline.

It will be interesting to see where Fox sits with the coach Brown firing. Obviously didn't sign an extension and the Kings surely must be feeling some pressure to fix the team.

I’d like to see DeRozan just handle the ball more overall. Fox controls the ball way too much. Murray is a okay defender but the starting lineup probably better with a pure stopper and Murray off the bench where he can get more offensive touches too.

I think Fox is gone myself and Miami will be where he goes. Talks of Spurs but he is a bad fit for them. Kings would be happy to go with Herro plus picks and move on
